Mein neues Spielzeug auf Arbeit.
[image description: a photo of a red Wonder Woman Zuru Fidget Cube wearing a black Zuru Prism, sitting beside two Zuru Prism boxes. All three items rest on a red watermelon slice pillow. The Prism box is a white box featuring an image of a blue Prism: a blue silicone frame shaped like a cube with clear cut outs to wrap around the sides of the Fidget Cube, a transparent blue spring cable and a blue plastic clip attached to a loop at one corner of the frame. On the front of the box black text reads “Zuru Fidget Cube Prism by Antsy Labs” and “a companion for fidget cube” written in English, French and Spanish. White price tags, two per box, read “$2.99” and “$1.50”. The Wonder Woman Fidget Cube is red, with the yellow Wonder Woman symbol printed over the worry stone/breathe side, facing upwards. The blue buttons are visible at the front and the blue gears and silver roller ball are visible on the side of the cube. The edges of the black Prism sit very close to the edges of the gears.]
Zuru Fidget Cube Prism - Toyworld, $1.50 AUD.
My magical Shannon Avenue Toyworld store has Zuru Prisms on clearance for half price. I’m taking this as an indication that they’re not planning to continue stocking them, but it’s good for me in that I managed to get a few spares, and some Prisms for a friend, very cheaply.
I haven’t found the Prisms at any other Toyworld store to which I have access (be that in regional Victoria or in Melbourne) so I doubt this will be very helpful even for most Aussies. If there’s a Toyworld store near you, though, it still might be worth checking out, as it’s much cheaper than paying the international shipping from Antsy Labs.
There are inexpensive Prism knock-offs on eBay, as I’ve reviewed in this post, but none of them have the loop attachment for a clip, making them useless for anyone who wishes to attach their Fidget Cube to a lanyard or keychain.
The other Prism colours have been photographed in this previous update post.
Antsy Labs are releasing Marvel-themed fidget cubes!!
Pre-order available now.
(I’m getting the Spider-Man one!)
So I’ve seen scams about this floating around Facebook but this is the first one I’ve seen on Tumblr. I love the fidget cube and it is amazing - but the only real one that isn’t a bad reproduced knockoff or a straight up scam is from Antsy Labs. Antsy Labs is the company that originally kickstarted this project.
DON’T BELIEVE ANY OF THE OTHER ADS FLOATING AROUND THEY ARE LITERALLY USING ANTSY LABS IMAGES.
Basically you’re either going to get a really crappy version of one, IF you get one at all. There are some that are just taking people’s money and running.
When I first saw this website I checked it out and they didn’t even have a contact us section and their “return policy” looks sketchy as hell.
Don’t lose your money on this! If you want a real one go check out @antsylabs!
HEY! check Walmart for fidget cubes, I was there last night and found the Antsy Lab cubes for only $10! On their website they are $22, so if you've wanted to be able to get the original and support the brand try Walmart. They are not priced this way on walmarts website.
my fidget cube from Antsy Labs finally came and good GRIEF I underestimated how great this thing would be, the buttons make very satisfying clicks, the joystick and switches have an appropriate amount of resistance, there's a spinny disk thing that's great and the little groove is perfect finger size, I can play with multiple sides at a time with thumb and fingers and overall the cube itself has a nice weight to it and has a nice smooth texture the toggle-like switch is my current favourite, love the loud click but will probably be the most likely to drive others crazy, I also liked being able to pick the colour final mark, 11/10, cannot put this fucking thing down
