It has been 3 years since Camilla-Anne Rutter gave her life in order to save her Osirian and good friend Eddie Miller, along with saving the rest of the world (you know, as you casually do).
Those 3 years have been particularly tough for her twin brother, Fabian Rutter, as he tried to move on with his life without his twin by his side, with the only memory of her being a cat she left behind and the memories he shared with the fellow Anubis house members - seeing as according to everyone else in his life she didn't even exist.
One night, a mysterious dream causes Fabian to gather the Sibuna's once again as Camilla is calling them from the British Museum. They storm the building in hopes to find some answers to where Camilla is. Instead, Camilla, in her attempts to speak to her brother burdens him with the god Osiris to look after and a quest to complete - her life and freedom in the balance of it all.
In the Land of the Gods, Camilla has been granted the chance at life again, the catch being she has to stop the god Set, who has his sights on taking over the world - again. Camilla and her brother's task is to stop Set, by finding the 9 pieces of Osiris's soul to grant Osiris his pure soul once again.
Fabian and some of the Sibuna's embark on a dangerous journey across the globe where Camilla and the other half have to face the challenges of the gods -two quests that brings them ever closer to the truth about their family, and their blood that might be the answers to everything they have had to deal with in their high school years.
