Holy shit I need a superhero muse ASAP for this doozy of a plot I thought of.

Give my pyrokinetic max doing all sorts of bad things, so bad that heroes get called. Her family is dead bc of her (already established in this verse) but someone contacted her and one of her brothers is, surprise surprise, ALIVE. Alive and captured bc these people decided that max is gonna do their dirty work for them or they kill him. Maybe she even has a comm in where they’re feeding her instructions and letting her hear his screams when she hesitates. Cut to her getting taken in by the heroes that wind up saving her brother too. She will happily spend the rest of her life in jail and be a model prisoner if they just let her see her brother once. They do and he either a) was never her brother whoops, or b) hates her bc she’s the reason everyone is dead, now has probably killed more people, and tells her she should have just let him die. Cue my heartbroken child crying quietly in her cell until further notice.
