Anya presses her nose against the glass. “What are the odds of getting struck by lighting?” she asks herself, then giggles. “Silly me. I can just ask Siri. Tara, do you have Siri on your phone? She knows everyth-”

She stops, looking over her shoulder. Tara is hugging her knees on the sofa, trying to smile. “No, Anya, I’m fine,” she starts to say, but Anya’s already there, covering Tara’s face with kisses. She knows Tara gets nervous about loud noises.

since you’re a buffy fandom friend, i’ll talk about btvs fic.

E - What character do you identify with most?  Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well?

i’ve always felt a strong affinity for tara and the way she kinda sticks to the background but supports everyone around her as best she can. 

i really like what i did with tara (and dawn tbh) in this post-s5 fic about tillow teaching dawn magic.

N - Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share?

fic ideas are always brewing. i’ve got two fuffy fics partially written. one where faith and buffy actually make it to the homecoming dance together and one where faith and buffy meet at the diner she’s working at in anne.

i also have a bunch of ideas for fic set in the post-series series i have – chronicles of c-town. one in particular focuses on buffy and giles repairing their relationship.

T - Any fanfic tropes you can’t stand?

isn’t sex or die a fic trope? yeah, that’s something i wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole.

top 5 buffy relationships

I’m not sure if this for Buffy’s romantic relationships, or relationships in general within btvs, but I’m gonna go for Buffy as a character specifically.

1. Buffy & Giles - their father/daughter, watcher/slayer dynamic probably means the most to me in the show, I love them a lot, y’all have no idea.

2. Buffy & Faith - romantic or otherwise I think the idea of we’re not supposed to exist together and the polarity in their personalities is one of the most compelling relationships in the show.

3. Buffy & Tara - They had so much more in common than you would think, it really was a crime their relationship wasn’t explored better. Buffy needed someone like Tara in her life so badly. 

4. Buffy & Willow - After Buffy “quits” being a slayer in Prophecy Girl Willow’s pain is what brings her back. Willow has the whole world open to her after high school but she decides to stay with Buffy and becomes the wicca she is. The choices they made for each other undeniably shape them.

5. Buffy x Satsu - *smashes pots and pans together* BUFFY IS CANNONICALLY BI (and if it wasn’t for the shitty judgements of her friends they wouldn’t dated and been really hot and really cute together 4eva bitter.)
