Are you baking or putting maple syrup on something? There are different ways of doing it.
baking it! for some pecan pie bars, i have to make a syrup with that syrup and other stuff :D

depends what you're making...you can use honey, molasses, or brown rice syrup, but water these down. or you can make your own brown sugar syrup.

re the EC post: law student here confirming it is technically possible but extremely unlikely. the electors are chosen by party according to the winning candidate in each state, so I wouldn't count on them voting for hillary. if the election goes to the new house of reps, it's also republican controlled. best bet for ousting trump is disqualification/impeachment based on fraud convictions, but then pence will be potus. sorry for the doom and gloom.
