People out here, going off about that “Just like Ward" line and like “no, no, never, you’re not! Nooo!!”

But listen. That line is in relation to Aida pointing out that the things Fitz did in the Framework were influenced by the presence and tutelage of an ‘overbearing father figure’. She says this, he said “Just like Ward.”

It follows that his thinking is given the same circumstances (a controlled upbringing by a father figure bent on creating a specific outcome) he turned out the same - arguably, worse - than Ward.

This is the writers making a nature vs. nurture argument, yet again, but this time banking on the side of nurture having a huge outcome on the person you can become. Leo Fitz and Grant Ward in the Framework and out are solid examples of how different nurture can result in a different person. Overbearing father figure bent on creating a weapon/monster? Framework Fitz, real world Ward. Understanding, mentoring figure bent on creating the best person that person can be? Real world Fitz and Framework Ward.

When you are given the tools to be a better person, you can be a better person. It does not excuse anything that real world Ward or Framework Fitz did (and never will), but there it is, and that’s all I’ll say on the matter.

In case anyone wanted some ideas on what bitz to use to represent some more women in Warhammer, GW has 2 kits that have some pretty decent bitz. First is the Sisters of Avelorn, with long flowing hair, and second are the Wildwood Rangers, with a hooded and mysterious vibe.

And they don’t work for HYDRA, they work for a dog shelter, and Fitz is still called “the Doctor” but it’s because he’s such an amazing vet, and it’s not that SHIELD lost the war; they won, but for Ward’s rehab from years under Garrett’s abuse, he left SHIELD and went into caring for animals and because they were in love, Fitz did the same, and also Jemma is there because Stop Hurting This Girl and Daisy is still leading the charge as the best hacktivist in the world and everyone is happy and there’s no pain, no bullshit, and DOGS.

Don’t worry!! I’m going into this without any expectations. I’m honestly just watching these episodes for Brett, and the fact that he and Iain are costumed like they walked straight out of one of Steph and I’s AUs. No hopes, no expectations, and fully expecting it to be contrived and pointless in the end. If it isn’t, that will be shocking, but, really, none of it matters because it’s not real.

It’s like Whose Line Is It Anyway: Where everything’s made up and the plots don’t matter.

Played a game of AoS 4th with a person from out of town tonight. Last run of the busted ghoulies until their nerf. We played a 1k point game of the community event battle plan. It is just an all our nothing battleplan. One person punches a wall and the other tries to stop them. I was the wall puncher. I punched wall good. Kudross is kind of a beast. I wanted to try my harridans but I didn't have them painted. The spells weren't painted either but I care less about that. First time playing against KO too. Scary army. The ability to turn off ward saves is kind of strong against Nighthaunt.
