Remember my previous post [ http://darth-eagle.tumblr.com/post/154305983809/remember-the-first-eren-mikasa-scene-in-the-snk ] about Eren and his "long dream" in Manga Chapter 1 and Anime Episode 1? How Eren is already "Special" before he ate his Father, Grisha Jaeger and inherited both the "Attack Titan" and "Coordinate Titan" powers? Okay........ with Chapter 89 released, this is getting EVEN MORE CONFUSING! X__X Even Eren Kruger mentioned about Mikasa and Armin despite them, not being born yet. Who is Eren Jaeger really is? What power and memory, the "Attack Titan" passed down to its bearer, Eren Kruger, Grisha Jaeger and Eren Jaeger???? Are Mikasa and Armin, the Key to unlocking some other Powers within Eren Jaeger? Are we going "Matrix Reloaded" story here where everything is a Cycle that repeated itself until the "Chosen One" disrupted it and created new future? Or some Time-Travel Thinging???? CONFUSION! T__T Each New Chapter might give answer to 1 Question but created many more Yet-To-Be-Answered Questions! X__X

I am more and more of the belief that these “paths” can be accessed by shifters, and they can see the memories of not only those who possessed them, but those that will posses their power in the future. And the Coordinate is the one to control those paths.

So maybe it’s not a time loop, but that Eren was able to see those memories when he woke up, because he was that random baby that got a shifter in him already. That mysterious 9th titan we haven’t seen could already have been in Eren by sheer luck. Either that or the fact his father was injected as a titan and then ate a shifter to become one himself affected him when he was born?

This also leads me to believe that Grisha arranged to not only meet Mikasa himself, but have Eren befriend her on the off chance Grisha did have to pass along his abilities to his second son. I like to think that while Grisha already helped Armin because of the constant harassment (as Armin mentions in his interview), but that Eren became friends with him naturally by his own curiosity. Armin mentioned in his interview they knew each other by Grisha too, but as we saw in later chapters, it was Eren who approached Armin.

Also, this occurred to me during my rambles, how are these paths created? Why is it an endless loop as the final page suggests? Could it be the Devil of the Earth spinning their wheel and creating all of this? I know soon we will see not only this Devil, but the first King too. Most likely they will talk to Eren soon enough.

I honestly can’t wait for the next chapter (February is my birth month!), and this is the first chapter since summer with Armin’s return that I was really really excited over such a cliffhanger.

Final thoughts: *where is Mikasa’s scarf??? *why were Eren and Mikasa shaking when they met Historia?? *why is Eren considered the hero of defeating the Collosal Titan? Are they keeping Armin’s shifting abilities a secret???? *I HIGHLY doubt Ymir is dead. This is most likely a ploy to throw her off. Reiner and Bert had no idea of the Overthrow. So they all must have thought at the time Ymir was (obviously) forced to write that letter that Historia was still in the SC.
