forget me not
First time in my collective years of being into Hetalia that I’ve drawn everyone in the main cast! This was mainly to just figure out how I want to draw everyone and especially their skin.
I was going to also write out everyone’s individual skin HCs but I started spiraling down into Too Much Research about climate change so uhhh that’s for later down the line….
The quick ones I’ll point out are that Francis has Rosacea like how I draw Matthew and Ivan’s skin is super dry and flaky from the cold. Also Kiku has chronic radiation dermatitis and his skin is sensitive in general.
Day 62 | 👾 | America Aviation Alfred is my fav Alfred 💕
How do Alfred’s parental issues manifest (and more)
GOOD QUESTION I think he’s a workaholic and is constantly seeking praise.
He’s very status-conscious and always looking towards achievements, so he can come off as narcissistic because he’s trying to get the praise that was inconsistent to him as a child.
His trauma is based on “I got praise and care by doing this/being this way but that nurturing feeling became inconsistent or changed, so what can I do to stop it from changing?” so he’s constantly trying to be the “best” version of himself for other people to prevent the praise and support from changing again.
His biggest fear is being worthless or feeling like he’s not enough for others. He never wants to be a “nobody”. To try to stop this feeling he’s always looking to do the next great thing and improve and be admired by others. He wants affirmation and to be distinguished by his accomplishments.
Ironically, when he does this from an unhealthy place he becomes overbearing because he’s doing it from a place of apathy and selfishness. When he’s doing these things from a healthy state of mind he becomes more cooperative and committed to doing things for people.
He’s always focused on doing and getting things done and “how do I look right now? Do people like me? Am I doing things right?” He’s always sort of going “oh look at me! Do you like what I’m doing? Look at my achievements. Do you think I’m good?”
So he’s a people pleaser by trying to be a show off lol. He changes himself based on how other people may want him to be to get that nurturing feeling that he missed out on.
At his worst he’s vindictive, obsessive over shortcomings, destructive towards things that get in his way, and untrustworthy.
He has an insane pride and ego so of course he’s not going to admit these things easily or openly. It makes him cringe to think about how similar he is to the person who was supposed to care for him but didn’t. If he went on an inner healing journey it would be one of the first things he works on: the fact that him and the person who caused him so much pain are so similar and so he has the capacity to do the exact same things that person did to him (and has done them)
To me, I think this manifests in a feeling of resentment for his caretaker, and by extension himself. He ends up taking that out on himself through self deprecation when he feels inadequate. As well as on the people he’s closest to when he feels like they aren’t doing the things they’re “supposed to be doing” or could be doing to be the “best” version of themselves out of fear that they’ll feel or experience what he’s feeling. He becomes anxious when he thinks someone is being lazy, and he can be unsympathetic to others when he feels like they’re slacking off.
He has trouble “just playing around”. He’s a playful person and of course he has fun, but he has difficulty setting aside unstructured free time. He can set aside designated time to have fun, but that’s not unstructured. The struggle comes when he has room to do nothing or is able to do nothing in particular. To him he can’t just sit around doing “nothing” to relax he has to be doing something remotely productive.
On a more healthy note, he can be a very inspiring force because he loves to develop himself and contribute his abilities to the world. He enjoys motivating people to find and explore their own strengths and personal abilities. He’s well regarded by his peers as an efficient person and a go-getter. When he’s at his best people are able to see their own goals reflected in him and his abilities.
At his best he’s self assured, has a clear sense of direction, is energetic and adaptable, can be charming, and is a generally caring personality.
Alfred was a Secret Service agent at Trump's speech and pulled him to the side at the last moment, thus saving his life.
He does not like the man, but he has a duty to do and boy will he do it.
Help me find a USUK Cardverse comic please!
I just remembered a lovely USUK cardverse comic I read once and I swore I had it saved but I didn't and now I'm losing my mind.
The plot was that Alfred was the prince of Spades and in love with Arthur but then Arthur turns out to be his Queen and Alfred takes his distance because he was taught that he wasn't meant to love his Queen. But Arthur insisted and they resumed their relationship. And in the end they find out that the reason the King isn't meant to love his Queen is because the Queen is supposed to be a sacrifice to keep the Kingdom stable.
If you have this comic or have any clue as to where to find it please please please help me.
I'm almost 100% I saw it here on tumblr.

Alfred has anxiety
His anxiety helps with his super strength: humans have the ability to lift 3000lbs or around 1 ton and previously someone managed to lift 6,720 lbs. the person who lifted 6000 pounds trained rigorously, but to lift 1000lbs, someone goes into a state of “hysterical strength”. like those stories of people lifting vehicles to help people or protect people. And conveniently we see Alfred easily lifting vehicles. My theory is that Alfred found a way to force himself into that state when he was young so he could protect his family and he has since trained himself to be able to lift more that that. Anyway this is just because I liked to idea that he wasn’t just born with superstrength like everyone assumes. can you imagine though , some countryyelling at Alfre that he started with an unfair advantage when he was younger and Alfred just angry because he tried so hard to reach where he is but everyone just assumed he was lucky?
This is kinda already a thing but he is scared of ghosts and clowns. Arthur summoned a lot of things when Alfred was little brining on later fears. Of course his Freind like to take him to haunted places Alfred can see ghosts. When he was little he would hang out in the graveyard and just talk to them, his family wasn’t around, what else could he do? He thinks everyone else can see them and thinks they’re all just good at hiding or is just very strongly in denial about his abilities. Sometimes he will wake up and things are cleaner than before or he feels a hand on his head disappear. Sometimes he’s cooking and will be like, “George can you hand me the cinnamon” and it will float over to him and he won’t question it at all until later.
because Alfred can see ghosts, they really like interacting with him. One time he was forced to go to a haunted house and naturally all the ghosts were begging to speak to him. The spirit-box would say his name, the saw the most things in the corner of his eye, and he was told to play piano as a trigger and played a duet with a ghost.
also Alfred can play piano pretty well, though he prefers violin, even if he annoys Austria by calling it a fiddle. He befriended kugelmugel by becoming music buddies with him.
he frequently hangs out with the micro nations, sometimes he buys them snack for their meetings( the reality is that he makes them form scratch, only the best for his buddies). He is related to most of them or has emotionally adopted or been emotionally adopted by their families.
he is fascinated by many things, especially animals. He also seems to be an animal whisperer. Animals will swarm him like he’s Snow White especially when he plays the fiddle. Australia will also call him if they find an animal that needs comfort and Alfred is very willing to be a animal mama.
Alfred only has one leg( he lost the other in the civil war to the confederacy) but he’s still amazing at dancing! He was nervous to try it again but Ivan managed to lure him back to it. Most of the time they end up dancing together.
Alfred is super cuddly with everyone. He tries to respect boundaries but if someone likes affection he will cuddle them for loooong periods of time. He gives his freinds kisses on the forehead when they are stressed, know how to help sore muscles or limbs, makes the best comfort food and is a good listener if he really tries. Sometime Ivan gets jealous of all the attention other people get from Alfred. Though usually when Alfred is stressed he seems out cuddles with Ivan or Mathew. Francis is a little awkward and Arthur isn’t great with emotions.
now I'm sick ,trying to heal🤒
I wanted to draw something ... I haven’t drawn for a long time
