To the assholes who spread that post mocking ace positivity posts that “slip in discourse” and you’re all made of lead and can’t think critically, here is why sometimes discourse is slipped into positivity posts:
when people constantly claim that your experiences are completely made up and fake it becomes part of your positivity to say “hey your experiences happened”. It’s not discourse. You’re just a fucking almond. Every single group does this/has done this. When people deny your experiences it becomes part of your goal to make sure that your vulnerable members who do get the brunt of the horrible experiences don’t feel isolated. So.
Asexuals you are loved, aromantics you are valid, and aphobia is real.
