Glinda Upland (Wicked) and Aphrodite LaFont (House of Night) are not the same character because they're both rich blonde girls from wealthy, prominent families with high expectations and self-entitled attitudes about what they deserve.
They're the same character because lesbianism would fix them.
Me shipping Creloise was foretold by the fact that I shipped Zoey and Aphrodite from the House of Night series back in high school.
Bitchy blonde girl from an uppity, awful family who is an antagonist for the first two books or so, only to then become utterly devoted to the protagonist who spends paragraphs describing how beautiful the mean girl is on multiple occasions.
I swear, if they ever actually adapt HoN, they better GO THERE! (Tbh they would need to Vampire Diaries the shit outa those books because so much should be changed including Zoey's entire personality lmao.)
So I watched Alizee's review of the House of Night serie so far. I remember reading the first 4 when I was like, 15, but didnt stick because of (looking back) the pacing. It's interesting to know how the story unfolds.
Anyway, my review is : Let Aphrodite be a mean hyper-femme lesbian and let her have a bubbly happy girlfriend in Stevie Rae.
Love/hate the House of Night series. I feel there was so much potential for this to be a killer story but it’s just. Like. That?
