Apocalypse Time AU Timeline!

Pretty much a slice of life au as I've said before they actually managed to get married in this one because they deserve it damnit

The mushroom war starts and it's an adjustment period living under the threat of radioactive goo zombies can strain anyone's mental state they're tired, they freak out but they survive

Scavenging in some ruins Betty finds a child it took a bit to coax her out of the abandoned complex she resided in (Simon bribed her with Hambo) Betty and Simon usually take turns on night watch Marcy would always try to watch too but she can only listen to Simon read his latest scavenged book for so long

"Look we match" they raise Marceline on a homestead of sorts a small distance from nearby human tribes they all trade stuff it's pretty chill

This is also around the rise of vampires humans begin to build ships pretty much similar to og plot Marceline is still turned she grieves losing her mortality (something she'll deal with throughout the au) Betty loses hearing on right side during a clash with vamps

Marceline eventually decides it'd be best to leave on her own to clear out the rest of the vamps (Simon was a crying mess for the first month she was gone 😭) she keeps in touch tho (they pretty much act like old folks on Skype)

Balding is ABSOLUTELY all Simon he's literally the only crown victim who's hairline receded

Skipping WAY ahead Simon loses his sight (this is also based off the show ice king constantly referencing his crazy bad wizard eyes plus he already needed glasses) so it's not a huge stretch to say he loses his vision in his later years

I like to think Marceline is dating Bonnie at this point but I'm not totally sure if it lines up but if she was she'd absolutely have them permanently reside in the early candy kingdom she likes to walk with Simon while he talks about anything and everything

They're the flirtiest geezers in the nursing home
