Just needed to write down these lines between Gabriel and the detective in the abandoned house while TK was trying not to freak out. The difference between 2x08 when Carlos said that his dad thinks he’s too soft to now, when Gabriel is confident in his son’s abilities and claims no credit for that.

Oh I am not looking forward to dealing with TK’s feelings the next ep.

Imagine sitting there thinking you know your fiance and then have this other person pop up, who at least legally, has a stronger bond with him and who was supposedly his best friend, who Tim says don’t even need to finish each others sentences... whoof. TK, who has been cheated on, would feel so insecure by this just being sprung on him. No wonder he looked stressed in all the promo pics.

This is one of my weak spots and I really hate shit that feels like your being excluded from a supposedly safe space, so this is going to take some effort to get through. Hopefully, they play it for laughs like they did Carlos in S3 so I can watch without cringing.

(No, I’m not going to talk about how Carlos felt displaced with Cooper because to me they’re not comparable. That was a necessity for survival, this was a lie.)

I did laugh when TK said married. Of course THAT theory was right.

I am also pissed that Carlos keeps repeating the same mistake over and over again. How much do they have to go through for him to tell TK things? Not to mention the hypocrisy of holding TK's running away against him, when he’s worse, because he sat on his high horse and judged TK.

But he's a person with flaws and no matter how frustrating it may be for me, that does make a story. We've had Carlos portrayed as some perfect person this whole time. Now he's been given a real flaw. So I'm mad now, but I'll eventually get past it.

At this point, LS has proved that they can deliver despite the rocky start and I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. (I’m getting flashbacks to last season premiere somehow even though I wasn’t even watching LS then) But even if they don't, this can be one of the many things that we pretend never happened. That’s a trademark of fandom.

I'm just going to keep saying All roads lead to the wedding and wait to see how these two survive this and hopefully come out stronger.

However, the thing that really bothers me is Iris. Just the vibe I got from her was off... I don't know how but something doesn't feel right.

Also going to tag all my anger and issues as 911 ls wank to keep the negativity off people’s dash. Will probably be too liberal with it but it’s come in handy in other fandoms so I’m going to restart that practise.

Some thoughts about the movie that aren't positive but not really negative either. Tagging it as 'rwrb wank' if anyone wants to filter it out.

I knew going into the movie they had to cut down the story (and characters) to make it fit into the 2 hours. But as I watched and thought that somethings seem rather over-simplified or OOC (to me), I realized that doing so removes a lot of the nuance and complexities of the characters... seems rather obvious but I was never consciously thought of it

So early on, I decided to think of the movie as I would an AU fanfic, edited to suit the story that was being told... and I really enjoyed it and can't wait to watch it again and again!

I will definitely skip over the stuff that gave me second hand embarrassment but even that's nice... not a lot of silly rom-coms about LGBTQ+ stories

I don't really have the capacity to think of anything else, my brain is just in a haze of happiness. Taylor and Nick and Mathew made something amazing that deserve more words than I currently have in my head, so I'll reserve that for later...
