This Pork Burger with Cheddar Cheese and Rhubarb and Apple Chutney is a delightful combination of savory pork, melted cheese, and tangy-sweet chutney, all sandwiched between toasted burger buns.
Ingredients: 400g ground pork. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. 200g cheddar cheese, sliced. 1 cup rhubarb and apple chutney.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. In a mixing bowl, season the ground pork with salt and pepper. Divide the seasoned pork into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty. Grill the pork patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through. During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt. Toast the burger buns on the grill until lightly golden. Assemble the burgers by placing a pork patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Top each patty with a generous spoonful of rhubarb and apple chutney. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
