One of those AUs haunting me for no special reason. A vampire comedy. Basically, Servilii Caepiones are the clan of vampires since the curse of the Tolosan gold. Thus, Brutus’s prospective inheritance from Q. Servilius Caepio may be accompanied by... major changes in his lifestyle. But he doesn’t want to be a vampire. It looks like his family’s fate depends of him, though. On the other hand, there is his other uncle Cato (who is a vampire hunter). But he doesn't want to disappoint mom, either. So the main storyline is about Brutus trying to find the solution which will satisfy everybody. As always. Cassius is first introduced as a boyfriend of Junia Tertia, but later we learn he's a researcher specializing in vampires, who uses the opportunity to study Junia's undead relatives in their natural habitat (while she uses him as a cover, too). Also, he's accomplished an impossible mission of getting along well with Servilia. Cassius is really helpful, as he can find practically any vampire-related information Brutus needs for his quest. However, he refuses to provide ethical advice and generally finds situation more peculiar than dramatic, which annoys Brutus a lot.
