Are there any limitations on the mutations that make the plague doctors immune to disease? For example, are there some diseases or pathogens that the mutations can't handle? Can plague doctors become asymptomatic carriers for some diseases? The simplest way I can imagine the mutations working is that it supercharges the body's immune system, so which suggests that some diseases won't make them sick, but instead produce potentially debilitating allergic reactions.
thats smart, i think severe allergic reactions would account for them living shorter lives on average too. i dont think they’d be immune to cancers or prions, parasites would sort of depend on the situation. viral, bacterial, and fungal diseases would present mildly or not at all. i feel like they could be carriers but they’d be less likely to spread infectious diseases than your average human if only because they wash frequently (best soapmakers in all the land!) and are fully covered in public at all times.Curses and other magical ailments can affect them them but they recover quickly and rarely die from them
Konrad Curze is totally 1D.

TB, speaking to just about anyone anywhere: "I hate this place, this zoo, this prison, whatever you want to call it. I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell. I feel saturated by it."
Momo: Granddad it’s just the Academy lobby.
TB:
Biggest difference between Squire and Paladin I've seen thus far: Squire: no chill, will declare her intent to smite you from across the battlefield. Paladin: also no chill, but you only discover this after you've arrogantly wandered well within smiting distance. Both equally valid approaches to paladinhood.
What can I say, I think it’s fair play to warn your opponents! Playing it quiet is valid to though

GET TO KNOW MY CHARACTER THROUGH AN ASK
🔮 - Your character is having their future told by someone pretty shady. Do they call the fortune teller out or just roll with it?
“Now, I would pretty much go along for the ride.” Fuuko muses. “Vico, however....I suspect...not as much.”
FYI Vico is Fuuko’s champion and erstwhile boytoy.
3B for Verdugo, your latest murderous big boy toy.

FYI Verdugo is a erm...LOST PRIMARCH. A project I’m working on in collaboration with @hereticalxenos (my fabulous friend and mun to @bouddicathesavage and @tavernofthescattered ), with input from the lovely @aramis-dagaz
Verdugo is a Primarch raised in Commoragh (wow how original. NOT. LOL....I’m sure it’s been done before somewhere). He is from a Wych Cult (Cult of the Abandoned Corpse) and is a star gladiator in Commoragh. He’s loud, audacious, graceful and sadistic. Like a murderous WWE Superstar. He makes his ring entrances so fancy that Vect has been tempted numerous times to have him stabbed because it makes his eyes hurt. He’s good for business however, so he doesn’t attempt to off him.
Like Angron style, Emps abducted his nefarious child and killed every single member of his cult so he had nothing to return to. (We’re still working these parts out FYI.) After numerous failed attempts to escape (I imagine Russ keeps fetching him like a lost stick), he decided to go “whatever” and lead his Astartes to the Great Crusade much to his consternation. He sympathizes with Lorgar and Angron. Neutral to most every one else. He genuinely likes Fulgrim and tries to outdo him with outlandish style. Magnus is fascinated with his cultural upbringing and is eager to learn from him like a new book. Russ, Lion and Dorn could not stand him and have lectured him plenty on gallivanting around in his skimpy armor. “They can’t hurt me if they can’t catch me.”
(More on him when we actually organize him a profile/portfolio)
Silly idea: while TB is clawing his way up from rock bottom in the wake of the Ruin and worried sick about his grandson, on the other side of the galaxy Momo and his academy buddy Takumi Pen are on the worst road trip ever trying to find other Protectors and basically living like disaster heroes in an Hylotl anime. Their heroics tend to be a bit embarrassing for them, involving a lot of running, screaming, flailing about, and monsters and villains being defeated by accident.
Momo: Pft. We know all the tropes. We basically know the guidebook by heart.
Pen: We’ll be fine. We’ll be back with the protectorate in no time. This’ll be easy.
