he really loves that he finally has someone that sees past the “tough” act and just appreciates him as a person
that also makes him really appreciate you as a person and you’re so special to him
honestly, kyotani isn’t that talkative but when he does talk it’s most likely about you!! he actually loves bringing you up in random conversations, it makes him feel like you’re there with him
for example, if he’s silent and off to the side while the team is talking and they mention your favorite movie in their conversation, kyotani will just kinda be like “oh, that’s y/n’s favorite movie” and the entire team is just ⁉️
this is actually how the team found out about you 😭 kyotani mentions you in a conversation and oikawa is just like “whos y/n” and kyotani is like “my s/o” and the team goes ballistic
(kyotani saw oikawa’s jealous reaction to him having a s/o and now makes sure to mention you whenever he can just so he can piss oikawa off)
i think kyotani’s love language is physical touch + quality time!!
for physical touch, it’s not always the obvious ones like hugs + kisses + cuddles, and i think he silently prefers to be on the receiving end, but he loves randomly touching you too
absentmindedly running his fingers through your hair or drumming his fingers on your shoulder/thighs/whatever while he does things are some of his favorite things to do <3
he also loves having you close to him while he’s walking in public places! he likes subtly touching you, like a hand pressed against the small of your back

one of his favorite things to do is sneak up behind you and then give you the biggest back hug ever, maybe even pick you up and spin you around if possible
speaking of hugs, aran loves hugs!! he loves giving them and receiving them, and his hugs are literally The Best. he absolutely loves hugging you and just standing there for however long you’d like

“you mean where are we going? you woke me up so now we’re doing late night store runs.” you walked up to your dresser, pulling out a pair of sweatpants before putting on a light jacket. knowing that the warm summer air wouldn’t have you too cold.
it was aran’s turn to huff as he got up from the comfort of his bed, knowing he would never say no to you. he tugged a shirt over his head and put on a pair of loose sweats, your outfits almost identical. you locked the door before walking out, letting the breeze hit your skin, reminding you how much you adored these times with your favourite person.
you two quickly walked to the bus stop, reaching it at the perfect time because the bus had just turned the corner. you paid your fare as you sat in the seats the farthest in the back, where the lights were dim and the seats were slightly heated.
aran got in the seat closest to the window, knowing how much you hated window seats. you clung close to him, resting your foreheads against each other’s.
you could hear him quietly yawn and you looked at him with soft eyes. “‘m sorry for dragging you out so late.” you lightly chuckled at him. “no it’s okay, you know i love doing this with you. ya owe me kisses though.” he smiled before placing a loving kiss against your temple before turning to look outside of the window, the buildings passing by consuming his attention.
you slightly smiled to yourself, before letting your eyes close at the thought of being utterly in love with aran ojiro. he was the only thing you needed.

sugawara koushi: your grandmother would LOVE HIM. goes to temple every week, can recite torah passages, isn’t *fluent* in hebrew but can read and understand it at like a 5th grade level. can’t speak it tho 💔💔 both of his parents are jewish.
azumane asahi: njb vibez. he’s not like STRICT strict kosher but he doesn’t eat pork or crustaceans and waits two hours before eating dairy if he has meat, or vice versa. almost threw up right before his bar mitzvah 🤒🙏 his mom is jewish.

oikawa tooru: i feel like your grandparents would like him, but not LOVE him. he’s not an academic like suga yk 😞💔⁉️ anyways his bar mitzvah was “Club Tooru 🥵😩💪” themed. iwaizumi has been making fun of him for it for 15 years. BUT HE GAVE A REALLY HEARTFELT SPEECH AT HIS BAR MITZVAH AND WAS SHUSHING PEOPLE DURING THE CEREMONY SOHFFYGD 🥺🥺 he’s not allowed to light the menorah because when he was like nine he knocked it over while it was half lit and his sisters shirt caught on fire. also he butters his latkes??? sobbed at takerus bar mitzvah; his sister made him go to the bathroom to collect himself. his mom is jewish.

kuroo tetsurou: kippahs never sit right on his head 💔💔 doesn’t know hebrew but can actually speak a good amount of yiddish? he did a rap at his bar mitzvah, yaku filmed it and uses it to blackmail kuroo. one time lev referred to judaism as christianity lite as a joke and kuroo made him run laps the whole practice. when he was ten he found out kenma had never seen the prince of egypt and he immediately ran over with his dvd 😖😖 his dad is jewish.
FUKURODANI—
bokuto koutaro: kippahs also never fit on his head 💔💔 has been trying to learn hebrew since he was like four but it never stuck. he ate too much food at his sisters bat mitzvah and threw up on the dance floor. he grew up kosher, dropped it in college, and started again in his mid 30s. always stumbles through the chanukah prayer. both of his parents are orthodox.
akaashi keiji: ULTIMATE NJB ARE YOU JOKING??? anyways yeah grandparents love him DUH. he’s polite, speaks fluent hebrew, follows kosher laws similar to asahi, can speak a little yiddish but not as much as kuroo. all his supernatural mangas have a kabbalistic vibe to them yhfdthk 😊💓 honestly just makes jewish life look really aesthetic like he doesn’t even need to put foil under his menorah to catch wax?? likes the prince of egypt, LOVES fiddler on the roof, but also broadway musicals in general. i mean broadway is pretty jewish soo checks out. aran ojiro: i don’t have tons of thoughts on aran tbh. he’s ethnically jewish, but his parents haven’t been religious since they were in their 20s, so he’s never been to temple. but he still celebrates chanukah, passover, yom kippur, rosh hashanah, the whole nine yards. OH but his family’s seder plate is GORGEOUS. like akaashis is put to shame it’s so beautiful 💔💔 he invited the team over for a seder once, atsumu GAGGED upon tasting the horseradish. osamu made fun of him for it, one thing led to another and they were wrestling over the table. both of his parents were raised orthodox.
