Cloud anon here! I'm gonna try to send the ask again in hope I remember everything! I just ferl like swapping s2 and s1 plots would be so much more cohesive. So i'll try!

S1:

Ep1 starts out quite the same, with them recording the ad for the hotel! Maybe charlie is involved, maybe we tip more into what it means to be princess of hell.

Ep2: The vees are introduced! Bc they are pissed that the Hotel ad is more popular than their shows! (Random idea for song lyrics like "even bad buzz' entertainment, and she's in every main event!") That's why they try to send Pent to spy and maybe work on a deal between the hotel and the vees.

Ep3: Overlord meeting! We get a better glance at Velvette and the vees business model! Maybe idk giving her a thematic rivalry with someone in the hotel, like husk or vaggie.

Ep4: Angel focused, cuz he works for valantino! Instead of random guys drugging him up, it's some of Val's workers trying to get him back in line and out of that stupid hotel idea.

Ep5: im not sure! We can ditch out lucifer, have a growing tension between hotel and the vees who would culminate in ep6 where a turf war is announced.

Ep7 plays out the same except for vaggie's reveal, which is left in the shadows, and ep8 is the big finale where Pentious stands up against the vees and get sacrificed! It's still a heroic gesture and the big post credit twist is that he ends up in heaven!

AND THIS IS WHAT KICKSTARTS THE DECISION TO BRING THE EXTERMINATION CLOSER!

NOw season 2 would start with the meeting, we get adam and a few hints at lilith, since introducing them in the same episode is fitting, I think, and we would get Sera and Emily introduced before Charlie meets them, creating this double storyline that would collide in s2e6. Now, every episode or so has one half in hell, with the gang trying to prepare for the extermination while mourning Pentious AND trying to recruit to the hotel, which is hard after eliminating 3 of the most popular overlords, and the other half in heaven, where we see Lute, Sera, Adam, Emily and Pentious (and a lill bit of Lilith) to see how Heaven deals with a DEMON coming in, what that means, and instead of Lucifer getting Charlie access to Heaven, it's Pentious who tells them he followed Charlie's plan and now Heaven wants a word with her. She's brought in, episode 6, and the angel realise this isn't an uprising, she's trying to redeem sinners. We can even get an emotional scene where Pentious and Charlie reunite! The vaggie reveal could also occur, and Adam still sends them back in hell. Sera concludes that this extermination will be the last until they figure out what is going on.

Then, episode 8, the big fight, Charlie unlocks her demon powers, but instead of Lucifer helping her, it's Emily, who cannot believe they still went through with the extermination and wants to help them! Nifty deals the final blow, and vuala! Hotel rebuilding, Heaven knows redemption is possible, but there are bigger threats and the whole Lute grieving and Lilith plot for season 3 and 4!

I probably missed a lot of details compared to the last time, but I think this is a pretty succint way of doing it. The plot is cohesive and the structure allows for at least one character to shine per episode while moving the plot forward, and it makes a good transition between s1 and s2! What do you think?

I like it! It's not so frantic a pace and one thing leads a lot more naturally to another!
