Time on my Hands
I would like a round of applause. No really, I mean it. Stop sitting there drinking your coffee and give me a clap. A standing ovation would be nice, but I recognise we’re all busy people so, you know, a hearty congratulations will be just fine. Have you done it? I’ll be able to tell if you didn’t. Shall we carry on? And what is the cause of these congratulations I hear you ask? What…

So Warm
Today was a busy day, full of shopping, running around in the rain, and Igor and myself splitting away from Stephy and Jessy to avoid girly shopping. We went and got him a "jumper" and then sat, talked, and rested our feet. That is the thing with shopping with female friends. THey spend hours walkng around looking at clothes that they do not even buy while I find a place to sit and read a book/manga or play a video game on my DS/PSP. Having a male friend with me meant I had someone to talk to this time. It was a nice change. After the girls finally reappeared we made our way to the Linen shop where I got the Aran wool sweater I had been wanting. Cost me a pretty pence but it was worth it. Warm, soft, with different stitchings and it just plain looks awesome! I plan to go back and see if I can find some yarn to bring back to my roomie and mama to knit with.
After a day of shopping until my poor feet hurt, we made our way to Maggie May's for dinner. I seriously recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in Belfast. Their hamburgers are delicious. Across the street from the Methodist College and half a block from the main Queen's castle. Go there. You will not be disappointed!
Now to get some readings done before class on Monday! Cheerio!

Morning everyone :)
Made great progress with Auntie Sues christmas present tea cosy last night, a whole side finished and i'm well on the way to finishing the other half, loving the multicoloured aran wool i'm using all deep purpley browns and greens, quite proud of myself for getting on with it because i had begun to think it was something i wouldn't get round to making...its quite nice to take a break from knitting toys though and knitting up alot quicker than i'd thought it would
Its just gone midnight now and definitely time to call it a night, had a very productive day..main body of tea cosy is finished and sewn together, just need to decide on the crochet flower patterns to decorate it with, i've also made a start on a knitted Raa Raa the noisy lion from cbeebies for my friends little boy Alex, hopefully he'll be finished in time for christmas, i've just ordered the wool to make Jasper a Charley bear as well :)
I'll put some more photos up tomorrow
