how would everyone react to the fact that alpha Trion has been dead for ages and Smokey just. Hid it. The fact that smokescreen, a YOUNGLING, had all that pressure on him?

ooough.. ratchet is gonna kill him when he learns about how Smokey did surgery ON HIMSELF with no proper training, tools, and then shoved the omega key in himself.

Smokey in this au is gonna have some side effects from that isn’t he.

They'd be very reluctant to believe it. But with enough proof they would. They'd feel uneasy about it. This youngling is probably one of the most high ranking officials in the universe, and yet he still does dumb things. Though they'd lay off him, not wanting to put even more pressure on him. And Optimus would do what he could to help, trying to lighten the load.

Ratchet would immediately drag Smokescreen into the med-bay when he puts two and two together. Lecturing him as he checks for lasting damages.

I suppose, self surgery could have side effects. :3

Elias is seething, how completely and utterly unfair! Not only did he not get the position of head archivist even when he positioned himself to get it, no, the salt in the wound comes, when nepo baby Peter Lukas gets the blasted position when he doesn't even deserve it!! The man does not have a degree relating to anything remotely involved with being an archivist, the only possible reason he could have gotten the job for, is because his family funds the institute and Martin decided to give him the position because someone pushed for it. The sheer nerve of that man! Elias has never liked Mr.Blackwood, but he was too interested in the supernatural due to a childhood incident that he couldn't help but find himself drawn to the Institute. Now, there is one more thing that pisses him off, and that is that Martin sends him to work as an archival assistant to Peter out of all people. The man used to work in the library, where he and Elias had a bit of a, let's say passive aggressive rivalry. Peter would do everything in his power to piss him off in the most obscure ways possible and when Elias tried to complain no one would take his side.

Finally! First day of the week, I used both kiss and archivist Au for this. A rewrite of the show with those two on the lead.

For archivist au, what do the decepticons do once they find out smokescreen’s secret? Do they kill him, try to get the relic locations out him?

Well the relic he has would be the last relic. But that doesn't mean he can't be useful. I think they'll try using the CPP on him, only to figure out how well protected his mind is. He's the Head Archivist! Of course he knows how to keep things hidden.
