Sunday Six - June 5, 2022

We'd like to introduce you to a little project we've been working on for a while now! @lucy-268 and I have decided to join our Tobias-loving minds to create a flirty little series where Tobias still had some reforming left to do.

Here's an extended Sunday Six... a sneak peek of the series.

“Good morning,” Dr. Carrick beamed. It was far too early in the day to be this chipper, even for Tobias Carrick. His two co-workers eyed him with disgust.

Dr. Dennison rolled her eyes, grabbing the iced coffee Tobias had brought her. “It’s 5:30 AM, it’s already 85 degrees outside, and it’s new intern day,” she moaned. “What the hell are you so happy about.”

Across the table, Dr. Terrance Mendoza pulled his coffee out of the holder and snickered. “That’s exactly why he’s so chipper. Isn’t that right, my friend?”

Tobias’s eyes sparkled with mischief as he shot Terrance a look. “I don’t know what you're referring to, Mendoza.”

You two are pathetic,” Dr. Dennison retorted. “Do I need to make a call to HR on day one, Tobias?”

“As if!” he replied. “Valerie, despite Dr. Mendoza's diagnosis, my days of messing around with the interns are long behind me.”

“Yes, nowadays you usually mess around with the residents,” she deadpanned.

Tobias pointed at his friend with a stern look. “Entirely untrue. I’m sorry if I’m the only one who actually looks forward to meeting the fresh, new minds that will be leading our medical community one day.”

“Tobias, save the BS for someone who actually would call HR on you,” Valerie mumbled, pulling a doughnut from the bag.

Inside the auditorium, a petite blonde woman in crisp new scrubs nervously searched the crowd for anyone who looked approachable. Then, she saw the one person she had been doing her best to avoid. As he began waving her over, she turned to the two young women to her left.

“Hi, is this seat taken?” she asked nervously.  

Sensing her anxiety, they smiled warmly, immediately welcoming her.  

“It is now,” a friendly brunette smiled. “I’m Maria. Maria DeCarlo and this is my lifelong friend, Deidre.”

“I’m Regina,” she smiled. “And I’m trying to avoid that lecherous jerk over there.”

“I kind of figured,” Deidre, a stunning redhead, replied.  “Don’t worry, we’ve got you. We ladies have to stick together, right?”

“You’re not kidding,” Regina sighed. “You two are so lucky to have a lifelong friend in the intern class.”

“Oh, we just met,” Maria laughed.

“But you said….”

“I was just kidding. But I’m confident we’ll be lifelong friends in the end, so there’s no harm done.”  She looked across the room and gasped.

“OH! I actually do know her, though! Sherri!” she yelled as she jumped to her feet. “May as well get her over here to avoid your creep.”

“I don’t know about that,” Deidre chuckled. “Who is that fine eye candy she’s walking in with?”

“Oh, him, that would be Dr. Carrick. Pleasing to the eyes, but probably as lecherous as the creep our new life-long friend Regina is trying to avoid,” Maria shrugged. “What can I say? Going to med school in Boston has its benefits. I know who to avoid.”

“Yeah, but I have to admit, I may not want to avoid him,” Regina leered.

“Pick your jaw up, sweetie,” Deidre winked. “It looks like our newest life-long friend… what was her name again?”

“Sherri,” Maria answered.

“Sherri! It looks like Sherri disagrees because she is joining us. You don’t want her first memory of you to be watching you drool, now do you?”

meet Nightmare

they are my cat.

Mare and Night are separate minds and entities, but their beings are so deeply interwoven, they act as one. They rarely fight over control. Night has more control over the body and power in general. He is The Negativity, the concept. If anything, the "goo" is raw dense magic. Mare was supposed to be the Guardian Spirit of the Tree, in service of Tree and Negativity, now his shell skeleton is the base and anchor for Night.

Nightmare is the deepest shadows of the Tree. Nightmare is the Tree. Nightmare is the Protector of Negativity, they are everything, they are melded together and they want it all to end.

@isabeauwolf had to add that crack fic we wrote with shigs, dabs and kai to the official list. It was too good to miss out on🤣🤣 plus it was so much to rewrite into an actual fic

She  is the Overseer of the Floor Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.She is in charge of the general management and supervises the activities of the seven Floor Guardians, meaning that she ranks above all the other NPCs in Nazarick.
