Finney & Robin met each other at age 5 when Robin caught his former friends (Matty & his goons) bullying Finney at school, causing him to have an argument with the trio that immediately led to his fallout with them before becoming friends with Finney.
Finney meets Donna at age 6 during the summer while Robin was in Mexico at the park. No one was playing with them, so they played dragons & princess together (yes, they sometimes swap roles) while also playing hide & seek.
Finney introduces Robin & Donna to each other when Robin comes back from Mexico, but the 2 don't really get along immediately as Donna thinks Robin is too grumpy while Robin has a very strong dislike towards rich people. For Finney's sake though, they tolerated each other.
Despite disliking one another, they would still stand up for one another, like when some bullies were stealing Donna's toys & Robin beat them up or when someone would make fun of Robin's English & Donna would defend him. As time went on, they slowly got along & became close friends just as they were with Finney.
