Ares devotional playlist. Intended to be heard on Shuffle. Hellenic theoi
This is my ever-evolving devotional playlist for Ares.
It’s geared towards more intense music because I tend to play it when trying to do my T shot, lol.

Me: Aresian is a good guy and looks out for others and wouldn't hurt an innocent and cares deeply about his companions
Also me: he's a reaver
What kind of holidays did you have on your home planet?
Our holidays are more like festivals celebrating seasons than actual holidays that ettarians partake in. I can’t speak much about regular civilians, aside from the glimpses I was able to get from the processions I was forced to sit in. They have the streets lined with decorations and stalls with food and games and what-have-you. Lots of bright music and merriment. The upper classes, which my family was a part of, put on festivities that were far more stuffy and boring, making what I could hear of the parties below that much more inviting. We sit through performances of kabuki like theater, and stiff dancing to simple music. My job is to look as pretty and presentable as possible, while saying very little. I have to wear clothes that can be up to twelve layers thick, my hair done up with flowers and jewelry, makeup on my face, and lots of accessories. The last one I attended, I wore these long crystalline earrings that hung to my shoulders. Sometimes there are balls and dances, but they’re not very enjoyable for me. I’ve always found them dull.
I much prefer ettarian holidays!!
If your planet has the population living underground how do you get water or food? What do you eat?
Well luckily for us, a lot of Aresia’s water can be found underground. Very little exists on the surface, and even then, it’s mostly ice there. It comes from pockets of oxygen that our lungs have developed to withstand a smaller intake of than yours. Not by much, but enough to make survival more comfortable. It’s also produced by the minimal vegetation we’ve found growing naturally in her caverns as well as the stuff we’ve learned how to cultivate ourselves. My family wasn’t occupied with this, so I can’t tell you much about how it was done, but there was a lot of filtering light through the layers of her surface and whatnot. My race doesn’t really rely on vegetation to sustain us, though. We’re far more carnivorous, and have the teeth to prove it
Do you have pets on your planet? If so what kind?
We do! As with earth, we’ve domesticated some of the more friendly or less dangerous creatures native to aresia. I don’t recall having any pets of my own, but my mother used to like the company of these furred creatures that behaved much like lap dogs or cats and had large eyes. Occasionally I would wake up to find one or two on the foot of my bed, but they mostly stayed by her ankles. My father used to keep larger predators as backup weapons or accessories to look more threatening. It usually worked, but that’s not hard to believe with a creature sporting ten inch fangs dripping in nerve venom, right?
Do you watch television or movies at all? Which is more accurate: Star Wars or Star Trek?
I love television. It’s a fascinating way to get a warped version of what life is like on earth. I quite like movies as well. I’ve made a habit of going to the cinema at least once or twice a month.
As for Aresia, neither of those are accurate. As far as space and travel goes, you can cherry pick from both to gain a better picture. …shit….I think Aresia is like the Empire minus planet destruction….oh god…..
That kinda puts a heavy feeling in the pit of my stomach….
I don't know exactly how to word this but, for every earth year you age how many years do you age
That’s hard to determine. In terms of how many years I’ve been alive, it’s the same as how you would count your years of life. I consider myself to be 69 years of age, in ettarian years. In terms of how ettarians age vs how aresians age, its a little more complicated. You see, we have an interesting aging process compared to a fairly linear ettarian one. For us, we are born, mature at about the same time an ettarian would, and pause between the ages of 16-24. I stopped at about 18 ettarian years of age. I will look exactly this way for the next coupla centuries or so before I start to slowly show signs of maturing further. And that process is a little different for everyone, based on genetics. For some, they stop, look like a young adult in their prime for a while, and then show things like whitening hair, declining vision and so forth. We don’t age like you do, because our bodies are composed a little differently. It’s the healing properties in our blood that keep us young for so long. It simply fixes any issues that may cause us to age. Our saliva has clotting properties, our blood and marrow heal wounds and other tissue damage, and thus, we’re rather good at bouncing back. As we get on in years, some of those defenses start to go slack, and we start healing slower. Skin elasticity loss in elderly ettarians fascinates me. It just doesn’t really happen for us. We show signs of aging in other ways, such as vision loss, white hair, joint weakness. I find things like crows feet and smile lines rather adorable in ettarians.
Does that answer your question?
Is there life on mars?
I assure you, there is.
