yeah that's one opportunity but i doubt that jim would be tweeting about coming back if all he did was some flashbacks/memories cause he didn't say anything when he came back last time for one episode but gotta see, hopefully they won't just drag him back cause they think the audience wants him back but has some other story to it like if it's connected with the heaven shutting down/angels falling thing (tho if everyone who has ever went to heaven has to come back... okay that'd be insane and there's a reason why i'm not a writer)

I feel the same. When you’re more concerned about pleasing the fans than creating a good story, that’s where you go wroooong! :/
fanserving is nothing but a bad idea and i cringe every time there's XXX campagne about this or that ship or character like let the writers do their jobs and shut the fuck up. of course they want the viewers to enjoy the show and plotlines, but they shouldn't do it on our terms, they should be the ones who decide what to do and where to go with the plot and not just circle around the few things they think fans enjoy

There’s a reason I quit watching. I just couldn’t take it anymore. I think all anyone cares about with that show anymore is getting a pay check. Quality has gone out the window on every level.
there has always still been some episodes i've enjoyed on even the newer seasons and that's why i haven't quitted yed but the enthusiasm and excitement are gone and i can go several episodes or half a season without watching a single episode and i understand those who have completely stopped watching it cause it's just going the same circle around again and again plotwise and it does get boring pretty quickly. i just hope they really do have some bigger plan for season 9 (other than trying to shove the angels back to heaven cause doesn't that get boring even quicker cause ZzzzZz 24 episodes of angels no thanks) and not just separated episodes about this and that character coming back without no real reason.
