Once I finished all 3 short stories (plus 9 pages of Bonus Content!) for my "Comic Books and Graphic Novels" class at Art Center, I put everything together as a book titled "Ariel Aguire's Amazing Anthology" and printed it out to turn in as my class final.
For the cover, I thought it would be fun to bring together the main characters from all 3 short stories on the cover, and as you can see I went full retro/old school with the logo design and corner box, in homage to the comics I loved growing up as a kid!
As for the back cover, besides using the back cover to provide social media info, I figured I could also use it to show off Zander's starship, the Crimson Star, since it was hardly seen in the story itself. The idea was to use the back cover as a "final panel" to his story, since we'd last seen him flying off into space, and here we have him flying straight towards us! :-)
