I actually designed him over a year ago but didn't get around to finishing his ref before now oops 😖 (AKA me frantically prepping for this year's Art Fight)

Anyway more info on him below!

Name: Arios

Age: 27

Hair color: Dark blue (with teal roots)

Eye color: Yellow

Element: Water

Shockingly enough I don't have an extra long super complicated backstory for him (yet) LOL unfortunately a lot of my ideas for him were never put to paper so I deadass cannot remember a lot of the little details about him. BUT I DIGRESS

Arios is currently a resident of a mysterious place called the Abyssal Hollow, a city lost to time and to the waves. It's hidden deep beneath the ocean under a massive and powerful water barrier. For centuries it remained a well-kept secret--mainly because there was no way to enter or leave the city as long as the barrier remained. However Arios, being a water elemental, discovered a way to use that to his advantage and managed to find a weak point in the barrier to escape to the surface.

The city is currently being lorded over by a woman too blinded by her pride and morals to realize that she is only causing harm to its citizens. Arios really just escaped in order to get away with no intention to return but ends up coming back after meeting Kai. They team up with a group of rebels stationed outside the city and put together a crazy plan to take back the city!

Couple more things about him: he's very quiet, reclusive, and stoic. It's hard to get a genuine emotion out of him, or to even get him to express real care for anything. He's a tough nut to crack! Luckily Kai is there to get him to open up 💕

Mostly I just really wanted to design a character with deep-sea elements, esp since I tend to shoot for warmer colors when choosing palettes...it was really fun to work with lots of blues and greens this time 🤧 Anyway he doesn't have a lot of substance yet but I'm obsessed with how his design turned out, hopefully his vibes are enough to get people interested LMAO

Can I get some random (you can choose what letters and how many) Fluff Alphabet for Arios or Thanikos?

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

Arios - He imagines that there will be quiet, stolen moments of peace beneath waterfalls and just reading or working together in content silence. They will have talks that last for hours, even days. After all, that's nothing in the span of eternity.

Thanikos - He's excited to spar and and go on adventures with his s/o. He looks forward to long flights and not needing words to express all they've got going on.

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

Arios - He'd be angry for a while, but then he'd sit down and talk things out. He'd want to understand where his s/o is coming from and want to make sure they understand him too. Communication is so important.

Thanikos - he'd probably end up in a shouting match that ends with exclamations of affection and some making out before they settle down and talk and get to the bottom of what's bugging them.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Arios - He's incredibly grateful, and very proud to call his s/o his. He's always touched when they do things for him. He usually knows they've picked up something to handle for him before they tell him because it's his job to know everything going on around him, but he's always so moved by how sweet they are to him.

Thanikos - Sometimes it just hits him and he's in quiet awe of how lucky he is to have found his s/o. They are great and it makes his heart swell to know that they are his. When they do things for him, he gets all giddy and excited. Imagine a happy little bird hopping around gleefully. Xandria thinks he's adorable.

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Arios - yes, but only because that's the nature of his job. There are things Thenios entrusts to him that he can't tell others, and his s/o understands that.

Thanikos - he's more of a talk before he thinks kind of guy, so it's hard to keep a secret in general, let alone from the most important person he know
