I don’t really remember, probably the first book. I thought it was because of the crem in it? I think it makes you sick, so you’re supposed to wait a day for the crem to settle to the bottom of the cup or something.

13: their embarrassing memory from years ago- Alsander- Hm. I don’t often give my characters any hideously embarrassing experiences because I tend to forget my own, rather intentionally. In his case, probably his awkward teen years of working out that he does like girls an awful lot and now how to do this talking to them thing about stuff beyond bugs and ponies and the next festival. Real stuff. Feelings. Uff.

I've got two tv show whump recs - 1, Dominion, set in a post-angelic possession apocalyptic world with a new religion. there's a whipping scene in the first episode and also other whump scenes through the season, but I don't remember the details anymore. 2, The Terror, a survival horror happening during a historical naval expedition to find the Northwest passage to India. also with a whipping scene in 1x04, I haven't watched the rest of the season yet. Currently on air.

Thanks!  We have some Dominion eps up and I’ve added The Terror.  Anyone know which character gets whipped?
