Singers, I think Armand would like who aren't Taylor Swift (because looking back, I was definitely projecting before) & I've made it all women because he needs to atone for helping kill off Claudia & Madeline

. Imogene Heap - Whimsical electronic music overlayed with dreamy lyrics from weird perspectives (like I'm not kidding when I say she loves a stalker POV)

. Sodikken - Sings a lot about being deemed disgusting/evil/a mistake & about eating others/being eaten by others & I think we can all agree that Armand would appreciate cannibalism as a metaphor for love/abuse

Mitski - Has a lot of songs about sex and shame, unhealthy relationships (where she almost seems to get off on the dysfunction of the men she habours feelings for) & feeling alienated by those around her due to her race as well as just struggling to relate to others due to feeling like a product for others consumption? As well as her occasional throughras, into her fear of "losing time" or getting older & what that might mean in regards to how the world will treat her & I think Amadeo would very much relate

. Kate Bush - I mean, the woman literally made a whole B side about drowing & is maybe best known for her song about Withering Heights (which is known as a gothic romance but is also about generational trauma & racial/ethnic discrimination)

. Vocaloid - Creepy, singing robots. I don't think I really need to elaborate.

. Grimes - I know she married Elon the rat, but unfortunately, I don't think Armand would GAF

. Lana Del Rey - Problematic beauty with a love of smoking & a fetish for the elderly (game recognises game 🤝)

. Olivia Rodrigo - Beautiful angst that's often about being young & used by older guys leading to a lot of jealousy & insecurity later on? Oh, I said I'm sure.

. Ashnikko - The mix of sex, anger & spooky/weird shit gets him pumped every time

. Poppy - Was in an abusive relationship, escaped a cult, pretended to be a robot/doll & has a lot of music about greed, death & violence all mixed together with an air of childlike innocence. Need I say more?

Fiona Apple - The haunting eyes, bad relationships, unusual yet painfully descriptive metaphors? The anger that's only thinly veiled by an almost morose sort of aloofness? Her sudden reintroduction to mainstream fame being down to people who don't seem to truly get her art or even respect her? (You know, he crashed out for weeks when he discovered that her songs were taken off of TikTok).

My IWTV Monster High opinions

. Armand would have very strong opinions about all the changes (both good & bad) throughout the generations & would passionately bully educate the youth online on why they're wrong

. He would collect his favourite dolls (spending a lot of time fixing the unfoccused eyes & glue seepage issues on the older models)

. Armand's favourite characters are -

1. Gholia - She's the president of the comic book club + an inventor & Armand is a nerd

2. Victor - Dude's an orphan with zero friends, who does crazy unauthorised experiments, you can't tell me Armand wouldn't stan him

3. Frankie - Litrually made up from the torn up parts of different long dead people, which I could definitely see working as a metaphor for Armand/Arun/Amedao

4. Rebbeca Steam - Was made by a man she misses terribly, + he just loves her esthetic/character design (especially her bronze skin, googles & jet boots)

5. Elle Eedee - Likes that she's a DJ & a street artist + just loves the idea of anything technologic being alive (hate to say it but if it weren't for Daniel, Armand would 1000% be addicted to everything AI)

. Armand assumes Lestat would claim kinship with Cleo, but belives if she was real she'd curse him with one of her ancient artifacts (& he may or may not have posted a fanfic with that very plot to AO3 leading to a year long argument between him & Lestat that Daniel & Louis only barely managed to stop from going to court)

. However I think Lestat (if he knew/cared about MH at all) would probably actually view himself more like Kieran, after he reformed & started daiting Spelldon Claudronello (& yes its because he'd remind him of Louis 🥰) but would also have an appreciation for Kitty Nior & Operetta because they're both musical divas (& one of them has psychic powers & a southern accent which we know he's fond of lol)

. I belive Armand would view Louie as a mix between Draculaura & Twyla due to he's beauty & popularity (*cough* Vampire Helen of Troy *cough*) as well as he's shy and intellectual nature and the shared issues around consuming what is natural for both to survive

. Daniel (jealous of the level of thought Armand has put into this when it comes to his ex-husband) asks he's maker which character he thinks Daniel would be and genuinely gets offended when Armand admits that he can't decide on one yet (ok so you caught me, this is only partly about creating drama, I genuinely can't seem to think of a MH character that fits Daniel so please help me out in the comments), Armand however defends himself by explaining that the Daniel of the past might remind him of a mix between Keith, Claude & Duce (none of which Daniel knows as he only memories Armand's favourite characters via how they look so he knows which ones to buy him online), in his twilight years his beloved has way too much bite & brains for Armand to feel it appropriate to compare him to such dunces (this, thankfully, does manages to ease a little of Daniel's insecurity lol)

. If asked Louie, at first, would be incredulous & ask why he would give a damn about an animated children's show only to later decide that if everyone was going to continue obsessing over this then he would at least make sure to ride for his fellow New Orleans photographer, Miss Honey Swamp

. Sybelle is fond of Scarha Screams - for her use of telepathy, Twyla Boogeyman for the austistic representation & Operetta because of her love of music

. Benji is fond of Spectra Vonderghiest - for the fact that she's confident & sneaky (without being mean) & jokes that he low-key got the idea for his radio show from her running a gossip blog

. I think Madeline would have liked Wydowna Spider - I mean beautiful, productive, red head with a talent for sewing? That's Madeline down to a T.

. I'm pretty sure we can all agree that Claudia would 100% have stanned the diva that is OG Clawdeen, no explanation needed (she would also low-key view Louis a bit like Claude & lament he's type being dramatic cry babies lol)

. They would all hate Gil (Idk if he's cool in G3, but OG him needed to fuck all the way off)

Because I'm a little freak who litrually can't go a day without thinking about him. Here are some more things I think Armand would love.

. Knitting/crocheting - He gets to make cute little clothes & crafts for his loved ones using sharp weapons + an old Indian lady complimented the stiching of a hat he'd made for Benji & Daniel had to pull his maker away before the mortal could notice the blood tears (incidentally the lady's neighbour who muttered slurs every time her & her family walked past & liked to loudly complain about the smell of the food she cooked, mysteriously went missing a few days later)

. Ice skating - cute outfits, artistic, graceful, but also knives for shoes. What's not to like?

. The rocky horror picture show - Weird, sexy, disturbing & doesn't make a whole lot of sense + upsets conservatives? That's just Armand's daily MO.

. Alice in Wonderland/through the Looking Glass - Something about getting lost in a strange world whilst your body seems to constantly go against you & everyone around you are either intent on asking you ridiculous questions that you can never seem to answer correctly or just flat run from you/attack you on the basis that you're a total freak, just really speaks to him (reading this back this could also work for Claudia & I am once again devastated that their trauma made them enemies instead of friends 💔😭)

. Skullpanda key chains & figurines from popmart (look my soul tells me he would be obssesd with Labubu's but I can't make myself feel anything but hatred for them so I went with something that had the same kind of vibe but isn't, in my opinion, ugly)

He is always on my mind, so here are some things I think Armand would love.

. Don't Hug Me I'm Scared - He's obsessed with the duck one but also feels bad when the yellow one is mistreated & finds his dad unsettling. He makes Daniel dress up as the red one for Halloween one time & while he feels ridiculous, they do have nasty freaky sex after, so Daniel decides that he dosn't actually mind.

. The Hunger Games - He makes super fluffy fan fic/art where Finnick gets to live happily ever after but also ones where him & the other victors, + their loved ones, team up to brutally torture Snow (which Daniel secretly hopes will be a stepping stone for him eventually coming to terms with what Marius did to him)

. Lemon Demon - coz sure Lestat might be the one going all rockstar in S3 but give my boy a keyboard & some synths & try telling me he WOULDN'T start writing songs about sentient arcade machines that wanna kill you or a business man getting possessed by the spirit of santa & destroying the world

. Chibis - they're small, cute, seemingly ageless creatures with beautiful outfits & cool eyes. Need I say more?

. Dinosaurs - they're big, scary & dead yet are loved by kids. He feels a kinship with them.

. The work of Katy Towell - it's creepy, often children orientated & he loves the animations that go along with them (his fravriotes being The Little Girl Who Was Forgotten By Everyone but Daniel makes sure he dosn't watch it alone otherwise he can become very closed off & go non verbal for a long time afterwards)

. Pretending that he's favourite artist is Taylor Swift, & greatly contributing to her continued success, claiming to relate to her romantic struggles & body image issues, but really, it's just to piss off Lestat. Who, no matter how hard he tries, just can't seem to build a fanbase as big/loyal as the Swifties even with the benefit of mind control (it's because he keeps eating the groupies lol).

Because he is still on my mind, have some more Armand headcannons.

. He would be into ASMR - but specifically the "weird" kind. He's watching 'You are a doll', 'Alien dissects you', 'Robot falls in love with you' & 'mad scientist brings you to life' POV's & eventually (much to Daniel's exasperated but ever present support) starts making his own. He has to put them on patreon due to YouTube's strict guidelines, but he still manages to gain a pretty decent fanbase due to how cheap he makes it to acess his content.

. Fossils - ancient, dead & shows an evolution of time? Sign him the fuck up!!!!

. He loves methodology & fairytales - but less Disney, more Brother Grims, like beautiful merfolk who rip men to shreds or demonic horses that take people to lakes just to drown them.

. Adventure Time - While he would definitely find the humour childish at first, he does enjoy the music as well as Jake & Marceline (I think they would remind him of Daniel lol).

He sympathises with Finn's anxiety over not knowing where he came from & stands up for Princess Bubblegum when people are being rude about her online.

While he did not like Ice King for a long time (for all kidnapping stuff) he does appreciate Simon for being a man of science + looking after Marceline & never truly forgetting Betty even when he went mad (instead of the 'if I was a worm' question its 'if I was possessed by an ancient artefact' in thier house & of course Daniel always says yes).

He straight up ignores LSP's existence & fantasises about melting down the King of Ooh for his insolence.

He gets mad at Daniel for jokingly comparing him to LemonGrab once (don't worry, he makes it up to him afterwards).

He is extremely protective of B.M.O & Sweet P.

Tiffany's hatred of Finn reminds Daniel of how Armand sometimes still talks about Lestat (he wisely never mentions this aloud, though).

Armand likes Phoebe, finding her use of fire, tough childhood & bouts of anger at things she doesn't understand relatable, but it's Fern & Lemonhope's storylines that really resonate with him.
