Jeez, I never draw Howie that great so I'm pretty happy with his. I also really love the the way I drew Flamel. This one's super long, sorry. Two more classes to go.

You're stronger than you think. I mean, we've all been through a lot, haven't we? The fact you're still standing after all of this is evidence enough for that, kid.
Besides... I'm not always brave either, yanno? I get sad too, I get scared too - just like you. Ending up here in this place was - is - a living nightmare for all of us; I still feel sick when I open my eyes and see those grimy walls and stupid rusting pipes... I guess I just still have that hope that it’s all just a bad dream - and I’ll wake up in my own bed, back in Payon. Naive, I know.
Either way, what I learned to do long ago - and what I still do - is to put up a good front. “Fake it till you make it”, you know how the saying goes, right That's pretty much it. Smile, even when all I want to do is cry, and tell myself everything is fine even when I'm scared out of my mind. Eventually, it gets easier - and before you know it, you feel a lot better too.
Nosy, aren’t we? Well, since I’m ahead of my schedule, I suppose I’ll entertain you for a while. Be grateful.
We decided to test on juvenile human organisms - which, I'll kindly explain for your sake, are organisms that are still in the stadium of growth - based on their adaptability and potential for further cell development. We believed that a juvenile organism would quickly adapt to the modifications introduced, we also wanted to observe how they would impact its further growth and maturation.
Initially, the results had been promising - we observed a notable increase in physical and mental ability - but soon enough they began exhibiting symptoms of increased strain and, eventually, all but one perished without reaching anywhere near optimum performance. It appears their bodies couldn't handle the influence of-- ...Ah.
I've rambled on for long enough already, haven't I? It'd be a shame if important details of my work got leaked out to an overly-curious little twerp, wouldn’t it? Now, now, it's time to leave - some of us happen to have work to do.
Oh, and - if you have half a brain in that skull of yours, you'll commit this to memory: in this field, there is no place for regret. Now scram.
