I finished a second thing for Sylvanas this week. A long time ago when I last bought fabric for her I came up with an idea for armsocks out of stretch mesh instead of fussing with tights or spending a lot of money for basically the ability to not paint my fingers. The process was super straightforward. I made my pattern by tracing my hand and adding 3/8" seam allowance so I could just stitch along the edge with my machine foot as a guide. I use a straight stretch stitch almost exclusively for stretchy garments because I do not enjoy the look of a stretched zig-zag stitch. Sewed it up and trimmed everything down. First set of arm socks!! These were ridiculously hard to make, but I’m so excited at the idea of not painting my entire torso purple in the dawn hours before Rose Con!!
