Aromantic microlabels
☆ Canisromantic — attraction (usually under the arospec umbrella) relating to a dog, hound, or canine like feeling. Coined in reference to a doglike feeling specifically (after their scientific name canis lupus familiaris) though it is of course open to all canines
☆ Adoptaromantic — attraction similar to recipromantic, though specifically equating to feeling like you’ve been adopted, such as a stray or shelter animal. It carries a deep sense of loyalty, and the term user may feel like a pet to their lover(s)
☆ Canisadoptaromantic — A combination term of the two above. In this case, feeling in love like an adopted canine
Grey/demi/etc variations of these terms are welcomed, but please don’t alter the base terms if you use them.

These terms were created with the intention of use by nonhumans, though humans are welcome to use if they feel it fits. Radqueers and TransIDs are not permitted to use it, thank you. Transspecies is more than welcome (I know you aren’t the same)
