I hate it so much when someone is spreading awareness about casual and normalised ableism and a neurotypical says some shit like "erm actually, asking people who act weird how they feel about trains isn't ableist, it's not malicious, it's just a joke" like, hey so actually this is not your fucking call to make and your opinion on whether it's offensive or not doesn't really matter, hope this helps

i feel like whenever i use the term “neurodivergent” i usually only think of autism or adhd or ocd (cuz thats #me) and i don’t want to only think of that. hi people with borderline personality disorder or bipolar disorder or dyslexia or dyscalculia or a disorder on the schizophrenia specturm or anxiety or agoraphobia or dissociative identity disorder or other specified dissociative disorder or depression (hey i have that too!) or post traumatic stress disorder/complex-ptsd or avoidant personality disorder or sensory processing disorder or auditory processing disorder or antisocial personality disorder or intermittent explosive disorder or dermatillomania or trichotillomania or an eating disorder or anyone inbetween or beyond. i love you

Pro tip : if a neurodivergent person asks you “huh?” like they didn’t hear you, wait a sec before you repeat yourself. Often times they just need a sec to process

I am actively losing my mind over miraculous ladybug

They have a confirmed autistic character that isnt a young white boy and also not someone who has been rude to people, he introduces this fact 6 seasons in by saying "im on the autism spektrum" and when someone asks what that means he actually explains my brain works different and the world is built for neurotypical people, my psychiatrist helps me overcome distress and then they all go with the traumatized character to that exact psychiatrist so she can get help for her crippling phobia-

Why did this show wait until the 6th season to become so based?????
