TOP 5/10 CHARACTERS PER SHOW (as voted by my followers) ↳ arrow edition #3. Laurel Lance portrayed by Katie Cassidy
the beginnings of a hero // the makings of a legend a.k.a. oliver being given a mantle he didn’t want vs. oliver embracing a mantle he doesn’t think he deserves
We’re talking Arrow 1x04 - 1x07! Well, we talk pretty much all the episodes because Calli and I don’t like to be fenced in.
My Favourite Arrow Moments
In honour of the 150th episode of Arrow I thought it couldn’t hurt to reminisce about some of my favourite moments of Arrow - based on the gifs available ;) I’m starting to think this is simply stuff I miss BIG TIME.
Thanks to those who made the gifs!
Arrow Rewatch 2018 1x06 Legacies
- Oliver and Diggle sparring should be the opener for every episode. Just sayin.
- here we see the beginning of Diggle's influence on Oliver start to flourish. He's trying to get him to look beyond the list. There are other ways to save the city.
- 'I'm not a hero.'
- Oliver has a habit of hallucinating.
- Queen siblings dislike of Carter Bowen is funny. Love their bit.
- Merlyn siblings...
- love Diggle tricking Oliver to go to the hospital. He actually listens to him. I do believe that's progress.
- seeing the two of them in the foundry together at the computers is weird without Felicity. It's just wrong.
- also weird seeing Oliver know his way around the computers. I know they dumbed him down, but it would have been fun to see them working together or competing, and Felicity schooling him, of course.
- where's Quentin? In an episode about bankrobbers, it's weird they don't have their main cop character around.
- FELICITY!!!!!!
Shakes head. Smiles. Sighs. I see you Oliver. So does Diggle. Our first OTA scene. My babies.
- The bank robbers link back to Robert Queen. Adding a nice little touch of guilt for Oliver.
- Tommy and Thea...icky!
- I understand where Moira is coming from regarding Oliver being distant, but once again I'm frustrated by how harsh people are on him. He didn't spend 5 years in Disneyland, people! Give him a break. Maybe ask how he is.
- Oliver takes down his hood at the bank. No cctv?
- Overall, Robert lays a hell of a burden on his son's shoulders.
- You have no idea, Tommy. She is your baby sister. Literally. Also, I can't enjoy Merlance coz I keep thinking about how he dies for the sake of some files. Which if you think about this episode, Tommy throws a benefit for CNRI. If he hadn't, it would've gone bust, therefore Laurel wouldn't have been in the Glades during the Undertaking, so Tommy would've lived. He inadvertently sealed his own fate. My brain hurts.
- No La*river in this episode. It's so much better without it. I have to say. I'm not being mean, but this episode is so much better than the previous. IMO.
- Diggle speeches rivaling Felicity’s.
- FB Ollie discovers the names on the book. He burned a lot of pages. I bet the first page said 'Malcolm Merlyn is going to destroy the city in 5 years time.' Damn it, Oliver.
- I loved the scene between Oliver and Moira at the end. A nice change of pace for the show.
Rating: ☆☆☆☆ Like I said, this show is much better when it's not weighed down with a certain couple. Felicity is once again a highlight. In just her cameo, we see how well she works off of both Stephen and David in this episode. Also, liked the parallels with the Restons and the Queens. Solid episode.

Throwback to the beginnings of Original Team Arrow. “Arrow” 1x06, “Legacies,” when Oliver introduces Diggle and Felicity to each other — they immediately clicked, bonding over teasing Oliver — and asks for her help researching a target.
“You fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time”
