Watching 2x15 - I kind of get why Oliver didn’t tell Moira and Thea about Slade while he was there but after?! Why didn’t he warn them for their own safety???
Olicity Appreciation Week
Day 1: Underrated Moments (Part 2) - 2x15
Oliver’s so terrified of what Slade might do that he flat out tries to kill Slade in his living room with an icepick. Because Moira and Thea walking in on him standing over the body of a business associate that he just stabbed to death would be better than what Slade might do.
Arrow Rewatch 2018: 2x15
Quick Thoughts
- Oliver’s ability to stay calm around Slade Wilson is AMAZING
- Shirtless island Oliver as he trains - I’ll take it
- Why would you burn the mirakuru in a locked box?
- Island Oliver puts on the hood for the first time!
- Seriously? If Oliver was going to come down to the beach and stand by the bonfire why did he have to shoot an arrow from high above to light it - just to make life difficult?
- Oliver reacted so much better than I would have if I woke up with a mouse on top of me...rank that up there with one of my worse nightmares...
- Felicity’s please save Oliver makes me squee!
- I really wish Slade had understood Ivo was responsible for Shado’s death
- Sara really easy a natural leader, I’m glad she’s the captain on Legends
- “So, what would you like to do now, Mr. Wilson?” - it’s almost as if he’s daring him to make a move in the Queen mansion
- Slade chopped off Ivo’s hand...Oliver didn’t flinch...sign of things to come? ;)
- I forgot we got to see Slade hollow eye socket...
- Not near enough Felicity in this episode!
Season 2 tally - 8/15 episodes with shirtless Oliver…just saying, I’m taking note. For reasons…

Trip Down Memory Lane #21
It’s no secret that Season 6 of Arrow is leaving me beyond miserable - but now with the showrunner change I have the tiniest bit of hope. However, I still need cheering so I’m remembering times when Arrow made me happy. There was a whole lot of happy and good before I had my heart broken.
LOVE that Oliver can call Felicity without even looking - important skill!
Dyla - we always need more of this
Happy Sara
Felicity being adorbs!
Felicity being there to tell her man to rescue Thea

Oliver finding Slade in his house in “The Promise” means so much more when you have the full build up of the last time Oliver saw him. When you know that five years ago Slade beat him within an inch of his life, tortured him, branded him. And the last time he saw Slade, he chose to kill him to stab him through the eye and was only able to because of a fluke of the environment. Here Slade is, back from the dead, and his presence is this barrage of fear and guilt. The eyepatch is new and Oliver is acutely aware of the fact that it’s because of him. And he has an idea of the type of anger Slade might have against him- attempting to kill the man who hates you can’t have a positive effect on the relationship. And Oliver is terrified. That’s why he does such a bad job hiding his feelings when he’s usually quite good at that. Because he’s facing a man who caused him all kinds of pain and grief and guilt and he feels that he has no chance of stopping him from doing... whatever he wants.
“Senior year I was obsessed with art. My teacher made me bring our entire class here to show them our collection”
Really? Senior year? As in during season 1? Thea was obsessed with art during that time? When exactly did that take place? During her probation? Or when she was skipping school regularly due to drugs and shoplifting?
