Miscellaneous Anime Mini Reviews (part 1)
A series where I talk and ramble about animes I want to remember that I’ve watched, or any random ramblings. Note: These don’t go very in depth and more scattered thoughts.
First Anime: As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use my Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World
(S1 spoilers ahead, no S2 spoilers)
Thoughts: Had lots of fun with this isekai. Lots of fun personalities, and it’s fairly funny, but what’s important to me that it’s not afraid to let its emotional scenes play out straight. One of the standout characters was Ars’ father. He will be missed. Loved his bond with all the cast. However, even when he died, it didn’t leave a missing piece, and I was very much content following Ars in his journey. Can’t wait to continue with S2.
Yuzuki Family’s Four Sons
(Spoiler Free)
Thoughts: It’s an enjoyable slice of life family drama, but it’s not too heavy on the drama. All four sons are likeable in their own ways, and the anime is able to show arcs and moments with all of them. Love their dynamics, and definitely there were emotional moments here and there. My fav was the oldest son. It honestly feels like those NHK mini dramas which have lots of episodes that is broadcasted everyday and has hundreds of episodes haha. 12 felt really short and kinda long at the same time.
Since mobile has a limit of 10 images per post, I’ll continue this in part 2.
Why would you do that?

My Rating: 5 of 5 stars
Thus begins the march through the County of Velshdt, including a quest to overtake every notable castle and settlement standing in Lord Couran's way. Ars's reliable crew of castoff allies has proved mighty helpful for Lord Couran Salemakhia. But the closer Couran's forces march toward the county seat, the fiercer the fighting grows. And with fiercer fighting come dangerous and strategic alliances (with shady mercenary groups), new political gambles (in negotiating betrayals from would-be enemies), and the changing seasons (laying siege to a castle in winter).
Ars Louvent has unwittingly matured in real time during this battle campaign. REINCARNATED ARISTOCRAT v3 picks up where the previous book ended, and pulls readers through a lengthy but patiently and effectively articulated trundling through dirt roads, forest paths, and castle towns. This novel series reads like a soldier's journal, and it's a delightful encounter from cover to cover.
Completed watching 'As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World'.
The first season, the way it began, it felt like everything was too fast, too rushed. And i honestly didn't expect myself to stick around for the whole of it. For the way the things in the beginning felt way too rushed.
But I ended up staying and I ended up watching the second season as well.
And honestly, it's such a feel good show, it has it's errs, but by the end, watching everyone be happy and actually paying attention to the minute details that are usually ignored made me really happy.
I'm sort of talking about the war and the way the deceased aren't acknowledged within the show the way they must be. I loved the part where Ars writes letters to the families, where he gets vulnerable in doing so, where he remembers the ones who were lost.
Also the part where Selena's father accepts defeat and tells Curran to punish him instead of his subordinates as he was the one to give them the directions. That was honestly so great. I mean, to lead someone into war and accept responsibility for whatever the outcome may be, to take responsibility for the actions proclaimed. That, is a leader. And honestly if the real world operated like that, it'd be ideal but the reality is far from ideal so nevermind.
It was a good show honestly. I wonder when Season 3 would air. It'd be pretty amazing if they choose to continue the format and show us Ars's journey as he grows up and becomes an adult within the show.
Also, haha, this is how I feel when my instincts to say no no I'm okay, it's okay kicks in when I feel like :
And and and
I know it's not like that, but to me, this guy, he just reminded me of....
Him : Arnold Hein
I think it's probably because of his personality and the way he's portrayed. But I swear I got that vibe. Strongly. Very very strongly.
And well, I'm sleepy so I won't write much now. But it's a good show.
Also loved how they explore Tomas and Mireille's bond in the end, more like, I loved how Tomas realised that maybe he just wanted Mireille's recognition. And that realisation just made me feel something...idk.
I'm also curious to see how Ars's appraisal power would evolve further.
And even if it was for a short while, Ars's father, Raven, wow. Honestly the character portrayal was brilliant.
And the storyline where Ars was ready to head into battle, but his father stops him, and tells him that he doesn't have a face of a warrior and shows him an execution and makes him realise what he means. (That in wars, he has to see blood and be ready and okay)
And him talking to his family for the whole night and passing away the next day.
Ars visiting him everytime, along with everyone else too, Reitz, Charlotte, rosell, it's very heart warming. Such love.
He was a good father. I love people like that.

Wow, I can't believe we're already in the year 2025, I mean i can believe it obviously but it's just like, when I write 2025, I'm like Woah.
