Sometimes i wonder who's older - Messmer or Godwyn, cause canonically we didn't get any conformation about that.

We only know that Messmer is like an older brother to Radahn, who was born after Godwyn.

And now I look at this ring in DS1. And can't help but remember the fact that Marika literally erased Messmer's story and existence from all records... and Gwyn did the same (although situations very different).

And so I've got this silly idea... like... this is the same dev and they tend to make reference to their previous games........... maybe that's a little hint??? :'D

Sometimes i love Fromsoftware not giving us proper lore cause game not really about it + perfect ground for research and exploring. But sometimes you feel like a need for info

Ok, but seriously, Dark Souls aside,

i think time of Messmer's time birth is linked to Radagon's existence but I still figure out Radagon's existance chronology. Cause I currently think that Radagon appeared as a result (divine punishment) of War of Giants. They are fire. And Melina and Messmer for some reason have fire heritage that works the same way as Giant's chalice. So maybe they birthed after Godfrey's marriage (like Radagon appeared and in divine sense Marika created Messmer and Melina or whatever same process). But then again, when Godywn was born - after or before War of Giants? We don't know. If Radagon appeared even before Godfrey's marriage - then yeah, Messmer's definetely first. (and next question is when Melina was born-) Oh heck, maybe Messmer birthed even before Radagon (i dont want theorize about father, maybe divine thing again, he got serpent for some reason*), and Greater Will was like "oh? flaming serpent? tsk tsk tsk we don't do that." and punished her with alter-self who has connection to fire - Radagon. (* or we can start theory Marika = Eve situation......) I like the thought of Messmer being firstborn but i wanna evidencessssssss (or stick to certain theory i dunno)

8-year old Zandik started to lose his empathy and compassion, but I assume… he did manage to witness aranaras. That’s how he knows about their existence? And in youth he was just curious lil researcher but growing up he went “you know what? There’s smth to it”

…alright, heartbreaking proposal: imagine little Zandik chilling and playing with aranaras before being 8 years old-

basing on this convo between segments. Kinda sounds as if it is known fact that he already knew about aranaras at this young age by himself. I could assume just as an option that other kids could tell him but there must be point of time when he saw them himself

Some thoughts about Miquella putting charm on Malenia, specifically - when and why

i've heard a lot of discussion concerning Miquella's charm upon Malenia and one of the most important questions - when the charm was put.

...Cause it made me wondering whether her fight with Radahn was the part of Miquella's "Plan" or she just wanted to challenge The Mighty General Starscourge Radahn in the first place. I think it's worth mentiong because it parallels with the understanding how willingly Malenia was fighting in name of Miquella - "under control" or sincerely, where both of their goals would align.

From DLC we know that Malenia's last words to Radahn were concerning Miquella's vows. And yet still it's not the proof of how controlled Malenia was. It confirms that that fight wasn't just a beef and challenge, indeed. + i kinda want in-game evidence anything related to the topic.

And now, at Elphael, Milliicent mentions about "will that was once" Malenia's in the context that lack of her own will lead to Radahn's fight. At first route when i didn't delve into lore deeply i thought it was said relating to her weakining state caused by scarlet rot dulling Malenia's senses. It didn't explain conection to lost pride and dignity though.

But now i see it. Most likely that was Miquella's doing. And it leads to understaning - at fight with Radahn Malenia was mostly charmed.

And because of it another important question arise - why would Miquella charm Malenia?

I've got the sense she would have been devoted to him sincerely so... she disagreed with him at some point? I want to say that it could be cause of this Promised Consort childish dream plan, BUT what about other factors?

St. Trina. She was against Miquella becoming a god. I wondered - at what point she realized that the godhood is a "cage". It could be very early - look at their "parents". Both Marika and Radagon, whether one person or two, are caged by Golden Order, by Greater Will (I personally think about Radagon as "idealistic cage" that was summoned by GW to control Marika who could deviate + as a divine punishment (not by GW) in War agaisnt Giants). So when Miquella started to think about becoming god himself - to change the world for better good, to cure Malenia and later Godwyn - maybe St. Trina already started trying "talking" him out of the idea. And maybe, just maybe, Malenia agreed with St. Trina, maybe because of having the same pressure of godhood wheighting her as a "destined" Goddess of Rot. She didn't want to become caged Goddess so why should Miquella? And yet how could Miquella with his childish mind abondon such idea of trying to fix eveyrthing, everyone? Yes, let's remember - he was still cursed with eternal youth. I think it also applies to his mindset. As well as why he may not realize how problematic in all senses his idea of Promised Consort is. So maybe out of good will Miquella wished to show Malenia his vision and it was done as a charm, childishly, naivingly, not as a tool but something done more naturally.

What if Malenia gave up her will... well, willingly? She saw she was still decaying. Nothing could fix it. So... if she would have been controlled by someone - by her dear brother who she trusts - maybe she would've been less dangerous? The Rot could be finally controlled. By someone. By new God. At which Marika failed.

Besides. Leda was also charmed by Miquella and yet was devoted to him without charm. So Miquella's charm could be used by him as a correction "tool" in both scenarios I mentioned.

I think that there could be something more but i can't think of it currently

... in hsr all true habitants of Amphoreus's names are syllables with numbers since they are variables.

And the further genshin plot goes the stronger we (players invested in plot-) get the sense that Teyvat is a similar simulation. And i just randomly looked at Natlanese's Ancient names while having that names of people of Amphoreus in mind.... and I maybe imagining things but since both Irminsul and Natlan's ley lines are database..... then these Ancient Names could be the same variables who rewrite their value (aka another bearer of the name once previous one is terminated)

Maybe Irminsul has another system for naming its variables and this one on screen is specifically Night Kingdom's.

omg it shows that citizens of Sal'thorin don't see sun enough😭

ok for fairness, Sal'thorians (?, whatever they are called) and very light-skinned other wilders for comparison.

Thador is more grey-purple-violet, Indris's vampiric-lightgrey, while Velara and Ravion have more close to natural skincolor. And yet Ravion's paler than Lyca and Tisa and Velara's skin is closer to paper color (???). There's no natural red in their colors unlike other wilders. Tysa's actually pretty pale amongst them but she's more like fey so it has own nuances + she has a blush to give color. Damian's skin is contrasting but it's more due to his "animal lineage"(?), it's not "pale-because-of-underground-origin" way

Ok but I like this detail. And especially that ALL characters on the screen has own tone of skin. It feels so individual.

It’s interesting that earlier fandom (or big part of it) grew upset over the fact that Harbingers began to be portrayed better/less evil and cynic than it was expected of them.

But now we have quite a lot content of all of them bonding and actually spending time with each other, establishing relationships. And I like this distinct separation between ‘Tea Time Company’ (1,3,4,7,8,11) and Dottolone like in real working groups. They all found new people to cooperate with in their new chapters of life. And notably, they are still colleagues, you can feel it, but since they all spent with each other pretty long time (especially Zandik and Feofan lol… but seriously) they started to also view each other as friends/compatriots in respective subgroups. And yes, it’s important that devs showed that they didn’t befriend all with each other, but selectively.

The fact that they are actually showing us these interactions - priceless. It makes us believe in their relationships. It makes them livelier. It makes the story livelier.

And that to leads to new question… what about Pierro and Pulchinella? They were never witnessed or mentioned to spend time with either group or some “favorite” Harbinger (outside of working on projects; there’s difference, e.g., between Pulchinella-Pantalone’s cooperation and Dottore-Pantalone’s cooperation). Well, we do know about Pierro giving advices to Peruere and Pulchinella treating (unconfirmed) well Ajax’s family. But they both so far feel like loners. It kinda makes sense for now, cause they are more like closer to Tsaritsa herself. I wonder how it’d develop.

Sidenotes on two more harbingers:

1. Crucabena. She seemed to be more closer to Dottore’s club, but… that’s all info we have.

2. Ahhh Scaramouche…. Shortly: he’s kinda like Sandrone, but more keeping distance. I think he’d be a loner like Pulchinella/Pierro mentioned earlier, but maaaybe occasionally also joined the Tea Company. Partly. Rarely. He was pretty detached during “The Balladeer time” but before becoming Wanderer there were occasional interactions with him which showed that he was already sensible at that time (just desperate and sullen), so I don’t think he’d completely despise the Tea Company harbingers and completely avoid them.

Quite surpising, i thought he was just skeleton with cape. It kinda makes him more... "human" (not in race meaning; correctly to say "living being" but it sounds not as poetic), cause you can see more clearly the traces of his past life.

Ok but then.... he is extremely Wilder-coded. You know, if we take away undead part, he literally communicates with familiar/animals + his research topic is beasts. I don't have acesss to his full lore and can only note the fact that he's part of ship crew + especially likes researching aquatic creatures. But in-game as far as I know there is no special connection between Wilders and something aquatic.

Maybe i am just delulu and trying to connect the unconnected dots (100%).

In any case - after noticing "hair" (?) his design hits differently
