Seeing your post abt WM and Erathis has me wondering. How does Erathis feel being accepted in Wildemount while Melora isn't? Do Erathis followers have a campaign going already bc she is miffed Betrand thinks he is civilized without Nature? I would hope so. I would fight anyone who doesn't like my gf

wow it took me fucking forever to answer this, the holidays ate it and i’m so sorry okay but I love this. can you imagine:

in the empire, there are subtle differences in the imagery of erathis compared to elsewhere. a sunburst above a city silhouette, scales of justice weighted with things from nature

and of course a fuckton of owl and grain imagery everywhere. though less imagery of a crown...

shrines to “erathis” in farmhouses throughout the empire, but they look a lot more like shrines to melora when no govt officials are watching

worship intended for melora just wholesale directed at erathis in the public sphere, even when it makes more sense as the domain of another empire-approved deity than erathis

clerics of melora actually exist throughout the empire, but they publicly wear symbols of erathis and worship melora in temples to erathis. erathis and her worshipers are aware of this and just... let it happen

basically erathis subtly supporting her divine gf and letting her worshippers look the other way re: the empire’s law to not recognize melora, despite being the goddess of law and order, because sure it’s a law but honestly so is her love for her gf. suck it, dwendal

I have a few questions about Randall the Grey Render. Does his intelligence allow him to learn languages? To speak language, like in an awaken spell. How long has the party known Randall before his circlet? How did ya'll meet and befriend a grey render? Also I would die for Randall the suit is fly as heck

We ruled that it did, mainly because that’s the funniest scenario, that he suddenly went from animalistic deeply loyal monstrosity to Posh British deeply loyal Butler (still has a 6 wisdom though haha). We knew Randall for about a week before we got the circlet of intelligence when our Paladin rescued him from a slaver’s maze and Randall fully Imprinted on him. Initially he bit off our cleric’s finger but we healed her up so there’s no hard feelings there. And the suit was Randall’s first conscious personal choice as a 19 intelligence being, so  it’s pretty special to him!! <3

On the subject of cop shows and their villanizing lawyers and IA makes me think of the Rookie. Which I haven't gotten too attached to for reasons I am unsure but do watch some episodes and have NOT gotten those vibes. One cop dates a defense lawyer and calls out another cop saying they are "sleeping with the enemy" and IA is rarely mentioned but procedures are Things to Follow. However it is less mystery and more slice of life with some thriller aspects. Also Nathan Fillion

That sounds fun! Though tbh, I haven’t been able to handle new mysteries for a while – I got like a season and a half into Lucifer and lost interest at the courtroom episode, for example. At the moment, I only have the bandwidth for stuff I’ve watched before and British panel shows.
