I’m sorry if this is hard to read on mobile or PC, I like doing page layouts for practice in case I decide to make my own graphic novel.
This took me 8 hours in total, from May 2 to May 4, after a period of really intense artistic self loathing. Thankfully, loathing has subsided! For now XD.
The most fun part to draw was the background in Panel one. I used to fear background, but I’m slowly starting to rlly like them!
Some cross-over/au details:
- All three boys are on season one of their respective shows, so Danny and Randy are 14 and Peter is 16
- This is Spectacular Spider-Man specifically (he’s my favourite)
- Danny and Randy go to the same school. Decided to mesh together Norrisville and Amity Park. Since Randy’s school is more relevant to his lore, I decided to keep their school as Norrisville High, while the city is Amity Park.
- They’re on a field trip to New York, where they met Peter.
I might make a follow up comic where Peter helps them with their homework. The lucky bastard is the only Smart Kid ™️ (afaicr anyways, I havent seen RC9GN in a while)
Ik that usually Jake Long is the third member of the trio, but I’ve never seen that show and Im a big TSSM fan, so yanno, wanted to build my own trio XD

I see myself in 2012 Raphael almost more than I do any other character. I am a really angry, loud, and opinionated person, I'm EXTREMELY easy to ragebait.
This comic is based on an exchange I regularly have with my parents.
"Why are you mad?" They ask, when all I did was slightly raise my voice. They act like they've never used the same tone of voice, and it ticks me off that I can't say "why are you mad?" back at them bc I'll end up grounded for talking back.
And idk, I feel like this is a problem Raph would have a lot too, so I thought I'd make a short comic on it.
I really do not draw enough batboys fanart (specifically Jason, I dont draw enough Jason). Anyways, here's my take on his design, Ive been very redhood pilled lately and I wanna make more *stuff*
Normal Human AU designs for the 2012 turtles! Headcanons and AU details below cut!
In this AU they're all just normal highschoolers, no ninja bullshit, no Kraang, no foot, they get to be kids. These 4 were adopted by Hamato Yoshi after he lost his wife, and were raised alongside Miwa.
Design details:
- Donnie is 6"0, Leo is 5"7, Raph is 5"5(and mad about it) and Mikey is 5"3.
- Made it so Leo and Raph resemble each other more, like their og designs.
- All for are wasian but the white half hit Donnie and Mikey way harder.
Headcanons for each character:
Raph
- wears chunky boots to compensate for his height
- Takes the best care of his hair out of the 4, he's kinda vain abt it. I like the idea bc it contrasts his tough guy shit
- Gym rat, clearly
- Guns are ALWAYS out, unless he's wearing a leather jacket
- He's in a band, plays drums
- Tags and graffitis, does art for fun. His tag is Sai
- Member of the hockey team, its how he befriends Casey
- Everyone that isn't friends with him is scared of him.
Leo
- Handsome pretty boy, the girls and the gays love him.
- Ran for president of student council at Splinters suggestion, he won.
- 70% of his clothing is space heroes merch.
- Fairly popular and well known
- Silver medalist karate champion
Donnie
- Best student in their entire school, but MOST of his grade is carried by his contribution to their research department. His ass sucks at the social studies and humanities.
- Nobody knows who this man is, he's always doing labwork
- Paid internship at TCRI. TCRI is a shitty and corrupt company, but Donnie is a fantasti asset and they do EVERYTHING in their power to keep him off their ass and complacent.
- Bros got eyebags for days and is high on caffeine
Mikey
- Fairly popular and well liked just like Leo! Except he cant remember most ppls names, so he makes up nicknames
- Always invited to parties, he and Leo take Donnie and Raph as their plus one cuz ppl dont usually invite them
- Bros got adhd and it is uNMEDICATED, he does not do well at school
- No one bullies him, people knows he has ties to Raph and people are too scared of Raph.
General Headcanons:
- The four barely look like each other, so even though they have the same surname ppl dont think they're related. They assume its a freaky coincidence
- They all have their own friendgroups at school, but they always hang out outside of school. The other 3 have to drag Donnie with them
- They've got a bunch of pets at home. Namely 4 pet turtles named Sai, Bo, Chuck, and Tana, a rat named Splinter, and a snake called Karai. Raph is their main caretaker.
- They all did martial arts as kids but only Leo kept up with it untill Highschool.
- All 4 are fantastic swimmers and people are always surprised to see that Donnie has any physical prowess
- April has been friends with them since middleschool
This was meant to be a single panel comic… and then I came up with dialogue for the following conversation, BUT THERE WAS NO WAY I HELL I WAS GONNA POLISH AND COLOR THOSE PANELS TOO, the first one took me 3 hours.
I also would like to clarify: THIS IS NOT A ROMANTIC SHIP! It is a friend ship, that being said, don’t tag this as Zora x Noelle pls. Im thinking of calling them the Silveale siblings.
Anyways, reasons why I think they’d be friends
- Their dynamic would be funny as shit, they’re both tsunderes that love to tease. I think most of the time, Zora is the one teasing Noelle, but every once in a while she smacks him back harder, and he cant come up with a good retort XD
- Zora’s fairly isolated from the Bulls(as of rejoining them anyways), he hasnt been close to anyone since his fathers’ death, I think it’d be good for him to have a younger sister figure
- Their powers contrast nicely. One has very little mana but is very tactical and controlled when using it, and the other has a shit ton of mana but struggles with managing it
- Noelle’s family is ass. Nozel is kind of alright, but for most of her life they have been ASS. She’s already got a big sister in Vanessa, I think it’d be neat if she found a big brother in Zora
Annd some headcanons for their dynamic:
- Both of them would rather die than praise/show verbal affection (to everyone, not just each other) so sometimes they get each other small gifts or do favors
- Zora slowly gets more protective of Noelle overtime, and he’s a wingman whenever she’s around Asta
- Neither of them admit that they’re close, only a few of the Bulls notice that theyre close (Vanessa, Finral, Gordon, and Luck)
- When Zora finds out how shit her family was to Noelle, he sets traps in the Silva castle
Aaand yeah, thats all I got XD You can see me slowly getting better at drawing Zora throughout the comic, I dont like how his face turned out in the colored panel, he’s such a bitch to draw.
