Redrawing my kinda-old-art

I meant, 2-weeks-ago-old-art.

All I did was putting myself on art hiatus and the improvement wtf

anyways do you think the way I line art this piece looked like someone’s art style?

I know, I didn’t expect this piece to turn this way.

I had a sketch of a character from 2013 that I revisited two years later when I needed to put a face to a companion character to my OC with the blue hair. He was originally middle-aged, and I aged him down a lot. I couldn't settle on a face/hairstyle.

I'm art dumping, so recent and better sketches with text after the cut.

I've been playing Fire Emblem at this point and liked the idea of multiple classes. He's the firstborn son in a line of astronomers with an inferiority complex because he cannot use magic whereas his adoptive brother can. Because of this, I've always given him a scowl.

You could probably see that I have trouble drawing him consistently, so I guess I avoided him 2020-2021. This guy was one of 4 characters I decided to draw alternate versions of them in a 4-piece rock band because I watched the anime Given. Since then, he's gotten a better haircut and happier expressions.
