Back in August, a Discord friend and I were in a vc together, and I was gushing about Kirby's Epic Yarn to them. I started telling them about my hcs for Prince Fluff's personality and all that jazz.

I like to think Fluff is a bit sassy and prideful, but well meaning. He's fiercely loyal to anyone he considers a friend. He's aquired has a newfound love for adventure after his many times meeting with Kirby. It wouldn't be wise to mess with Fluff though. I think he could definitely put up a fight lol.

And then a thought hit me. I wondered what it would be like if Prince Fluff had an equivalent to Bandee in Patch Land. The friend then brought up an idea of a yarn waddle dee who was a butler to Fluff. And so, together, we came up with Beaddee!

Beaddee is Prince Fluff's butler at the castle. He's kinda to Prince Fluff as Bandee is to Kirby. Beaddee cares deeply about the prince and worries about him a lot, being a little uptight. He usually indulges in Fluff's desire for adventure and fun just to make sure he's safe. Fluff insists he's never scared and can handle himself all the time, but he really does enjoy Beaddee coming along.

Here's a project I've been working on for a little over a month. A little Dandy's World AU I've decided to call "Everybody's Friends!"

All the designs I have right now are (sorta) concept sketches, and I wanna save all the character profiles and the big AU infodump for when I have more "HD" drawings of the characters. However, for a summary:

The AU is basically "what if Dandy's World were one of those franchises that was made to print out a bunch of toys and merch? Specifically from the 2009-2013 era?" Like it of course had the show, but they also had figurines, plushies, console games, flash games, blind bags, backpacks, a website, lunch boxes, a direct to DVD movie, all that jazz. And the main toys for the characters would be like 6-7 inch figurines that all have their own gimmicks (scented, posable parts, flocking, etc).

The show more or less is like the canon show. Teaching kids life lessons and friendship, but also shows the characters going on cartoonish adventures, some slice of life where the characters have to solve their own issues, and an overarching villain (who I haven't designed yet but I'm thinking about their design) who wants to spoil their fun. The friendship part is the biggest part of the show. Every character has a designated "Best friend" that's plastered all over their merch and character bios. Hence the tagline: "Everybody's Friends!"

These are all the commons. I did go the alien route with Cosmo since I thought that would be cute! Also in this AU, I decided that since there's an actual villain, Shrimpo's role would be slightly changed. He's not really a bully anymore, since I want him to fit in with the "everyone's friends" thing. So instead, I wanted to make him the "tough guy" who can just be very blunt about how he feels lol.

"Poopity poop..."

It's Mr. Bump! I have been wanting to draw this man for the last 5 months, I’ve finally gotten around to it.

So in the latter part of last year, I was binging episodes from the 2008 Mr. Men Show (the US dub). I really like Mr. Bump. No reason in particular, I just think he's neat!

The Halloween bunch! These guys were the hardest group for me to think of designs for, especially Gourdy for some reason.

When I got to these guys, I knew that I wanted all their designs to have pointy bits. Mostly in an attempt to make them look edgy and cool (in a kid's show way anyway lol). I think I went a little overboard with Ribecca, I just got really in the zone when I was making her outfit.

The collective gimmick of the Halloween characters is that they glow in the dark, which I actually made a visual for:

Holiday specific merch would probably include Halloween party stuff, Halloween costumes, and trick or treat pails! I think their stuff would be sold between mid September-early/mid November each year. You know how quick stores are with selling late year holiday stuff lol.

Like I mentioned with the Easter characters, I had this thought that characters with family relations would get to appear in the show more often than the others post-holiday. I could imagine Soulvester having some funny moments in episodes, what with his whole "knight in shining armor" thing lol.

Unrelated, but I do plan to draw Squirm too at some point. I just wanna wait until we learn more about him!
