This piece of artistic expressionism has been named “Stuff me and @h.stonhill witnessed whilst waiting for the product to show up”. . . My work explores the relationship between the body and UFO sightings. With influences as diverse as Wittgenstein and Joni Mitchell, new tensions are manufactured from both simple and complex discourse. Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of the moment. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes finessed into a hegemony of distress, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the unlikelihood of a new reality. FLASH MONOTONIE: LE DIMANCHE PHILOSOPHE

C’est dimanche, il fait moche, on a trop à faire ou pas assez. La bruine s’abat sur Lausanne C’est donc le jour parfait pour se fixer le nombril en poussant de longs soupirs: “A quoi bon?”

Et pour parfaitement compléter ces réflexions quant à la vanité de l’existence et notre propre finitude, tout d’abord un petit article issu de The Globe and The Mail (oui, c’est en anglais, on se la pète). C’est bon à lire parce que le monsieur y dit un gros tas de trucs vachement pertinents quant au discours artistique académique (qu’on peut facilement transposer chez nous, soyons honnête, ah mais)

Ensuite, un lien sur lequel il est bon de cliquer parce qu’on y trouve un générateur d'artybollocks. C’est très drôle et très con, mais en cette avant-veille de critique Supermytho néanmoins tout aussi pertinent.

Morning Installation 2/5: a contemporary view of Australian culture with the hot sun and red-earth bleeding into a heart of liberally defined condiment. The nation represented by a tough porcine shell but soft and white in its interior with a googy yellow heart at the centre of its being. My Artist Statement - with help from ArtyBollocks

My work explores the relationship between Pre-raphaelite tenets and multimedia experiences. With influences as diverse as Wittgenstein and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are crafted from both constructed and discovered textures. Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of meaning. What starts out as hope soon becomes manipulated into a tragedy of lust, leaving only a sense of chaos and the possibility of a new synthesis. As subtle forms become reconfigured through emergent and diverse practice, the viewer is left with an impression of the inaccuracies of our condition.
