Have I been spending my Saturday afternoon ignoring my responsibilities to plot out the ideal Untamed-Locked Tomb fusion? Yes. Third House Necromancer Jin Ling coupled with Jiang Cheng, the oldest and most stressed out Fourth House 1st Cav in their entire history compels me. He has single handedly raised their life expectancy to record levels. He wants to die so bad but he can't.
#is he Jin Ling's cavalier? yes. should he be? absolutely not!!! no way#should he#if he was going to do this thing he should NOT do#have abdicated?#absolutely#however everyone else was dead SO#this is not the most accurate au bcs jc should actually be forced to do necromancy but too bad#he decided to be jiejie's cav when he was like. 4#she is a mediocre necromancer despite her seventh house sabbatical#fortunately genius prodigy WWX is there!#and of course she wants to share with a-xian#(thnx tridentari for this precedent)#obviously jc is trying to cav for them both when Yanli runs after a-xian after that messy business with the treason aka hearing out BoE and#maybe siding with them a little#and then they both die!!! and it's his fault he couldn't save them both and he couldn't just be loyal to Yanli like he should have been#I KNOW actually they should both be necromancers but WWX refuses to develop his talents because he wants to be jc's cav like their fathers#before them and then disaster leads him to demonstrating he's actually a necro genius AND develop a forbidden technique but that is NOT#as fun#for me personally
