Psalm 33:22 (NKJV) - Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
You ever think abt how kids who were born into the church (like me) get told that they’re “elect” aka they were better in heaven? Like. Imagine sending your favorite kids into a place that they’ll get extra traumatized Bc they followed you w/o question back when you were w them. But the people who questioned or not quite as strong you just toss to the wind? What a horrible parent
Yeah it's fucked. Mormons say their God is "the perfect parent" but he isn't he's shitty and abusive. Granted that's probably why a lot of Mormon parents are well shitty and abusive.

"I have never seen you before. Who are you?" A curious ape asked.
Truly remarkable. Of all things to have ever greeted her was a primate of sorts. Not just any, however. This particular entity seemed to be an adult, like her. To boot was his unmistakably gravelly voice and burliness. While his tone wasn’t soft, it wasn’t as welcoming either. Due to the fact that she was carefully supported by a tree fern, she was able to speak and be heard. Above all, she could meet his gaze, which was far more gentler than his choice of words. Completely unaware of her surroundings and only feeling a sense of strength from the individual, she remarked.
“...Well, who are you? “ A soft tone filled with curiosity. She was so entranced that her gazing could probably seem uncomfortable to anyone else. His scent? It was familiarly divine. His presence? It was that of an archangel; a warrior and protector. The area didn’t look like her home but was close. “You’re like me, from mama earth. You even smell like her. But I can smell my kin on your tongue.” Cue a pause. “Do you eat my banana cousins, mister? “
