Fizzarolli and Blitz Split theory
With Striker’s return coming soon as of the writing of this post (4/18/2023) and seeing Stella again and Andrealphus finally making his first official appearance (Yay!), I think we’re gonna end the season with Blitz and Fizz confronting each other and we’ll finally see Mammon who I think had a big part in splitting the two of them apart.
Fizz and Blitz were really close as children working together as circus performers and had a strong friendship that could’ve developed into a romance when they were teenagers.
Fizz is NOT related to Blitz and Barbie as a brother or cousin. He’s close to them as a fellow performer and friend but they do have a working relationship. Cash Buckzo was willing to sell off Fizz for a hefty price when he thought he could get something from Paimon. Granted he did the same for his son but he values Fizz more.
Fizz seemed to be more excited to see Mammon in that mini trailer than Blitz was.
Fizz probably felt out of place at Buckzo’s circus since he wasn’t blood-related as family. Blitz and Barbie would try to make him feel like family and Buckzo clearly had faith in him as a performer but he felt like an outsider. He felt value in himself when he saw he could make audiences laugh even at the cost of Blitz not being able to make anyone laugh aside from Stolas.
Maybe when Fizz got older, he felt resentment about being in a smaller circus since he felt he had so much more potential to make money and make people laugh so he wanted to join Mammon with Blitz so they could be performers together and make money.
Blitz seems to have a knack for picking out bad people so he probably had misgivings about actually working for Mammon but Fizz saw that Mammon was his golden opportunity to really achieve his goals.
Mammon could probably see that Fizz was more willing to do whatever it takes to become famous while Blitz had reservations and used that to split them up. He’d use his charms and business savvy to convince Fizz that he would be better off without Blitz, saying he’s holding him back.
Blitz would try to convince Fizz that Mammon’s a bad guy but Fizz would try to make excuses for Mammon and then get mad at Blitz for trying to take this away from him. Blitz tries to convince him he’s trying to help but Fizz snaps at him which causes Blitz to snap back and their relationship to be damaged.
Fizz probably regretted losing his friend at first but he was soon drawn into Mammon’s world of fame and fortune where he no doubt met Ozzie at some point and became closer to him.
Personally, I think after Mammon got Fizz, he started treating him poorly which caused Fizz to pull away and find comfort in Ozzie. His ego on the outside probably loved the idea of the Robo-Fizz robots but he might not like them since it isn’t really him that’s making people laugh. Rather, it’s the idea of him that people are laughing at.
Ozzie’s someone that Fizz trusts (and secretly loves) but because of the hierarchy in Hell, they have to keep their relationship a secret. When Blitz and Stolas’ relationship got outed to an extent, rather than empathize with his former friend/boyfriend(?), he still has some resentment towards him and uses the opportunity at Ozzie’s club to mock him and let some frustrations of what he thought he wanted but didn’t get.
