Original Fic First of the deleted scenes is up!  I’m hoping to have the rest up by Saturday.

Summary:

1. A Difficult Decision Picks up in part 15 when Stan and Fiddleford first arrive at the hospital and inquire about Ford’s status. Stan is charged with making a tough decision about Ford’s medical treatment. Coming soon: 2. Catalytical Contact Picks up in part 15 when Stan and the kids leave Fiddleford and Ford alone in Ford’s hospital room to talk about their potential relationship. Ford worries that pursuing it will undo the progress he and Stan have made in mending their relationship and the progress Stan has made with his own self-esteem. Just as the situation seems cleared up, a small gesture unearths an underlying reason for Ford’s hesitation. 3. Just Live Picks up in part 16 after the problem of what to do with a melting shape shifter popsicle is resolved. Stan and Ford attempt a fishing trip to the lake and Ford finally opens up to Stan about where he was and what he was doing when the portal reopened. 4. Hey. Thanks. Tate and Ford have a brief, but much needed conversation. Warnings (Overall - these don’t all apply to the first part):   Emotional breakdowns, suicidal ideation, hospital setting, mention and use of needles/syringes/IVs, blood mention, restraints, sedation, torture mention, ethical quandaries with no concrete answers, people doing the best they can to do right by others based on their own perceptions/what resources they have. Why were these left unwritten/deleted: ~I didn’t have the emotional energy to write some of this at the time. ~It seemed like a lot to add to an already extensive fic (even though it doesn’t segue much from the main plot.   ~It made the end seem to meander too much.) ~It references things from journal 3 a lot more than I wanted anything in this fic to (since I was trying to stick with the ideas I had before it came out. But damn it just... piled on more complications that fit in so well with this fic.)

Status Update - Maybe it’s Not Too Late Fic

I’m shooting for Monday night for the next update <3.  I’m basically staring at a stack of index cards with all of the loose ends that need to be tied up right now.  But the final two scenes are written!  I just need to fill in everything in between.  It should end up being around 15 chapters by the end.  (Says the idiot who thought this was going to be a drabble then a 4 chapter fic at most...)  Link if anyone needs it.

Ouch!  Just...  Ouch.   OK I'm just going to go curl up in an exhausted and emotionally drained ball now... See you next week... *waves feebly Overall synopsis:  A post-weirdmageddon asexual (vaguely romantic) Fiddauthor fic in which revelations occur, a confession goes awry, some unfinished business reemerges in the form of a raging pterodactyl, and chaos ensues.   Chapter synopsis:   Things get frightening for Ford and Fiddleford when 210 finds them in the ruins of the cryogenic containment lab. Warnings:   Some mild gore. Flashbacks. Injury and injury mention. Major character injury.  Violence. Verbal abuse. Same disclaimer applies to Shifty as usual. It's saying and doing anything it can to cause pain. It's using whatever information it's gathered by listening in on conversations, watching Ford write, and general observation to try to confront them with whatever will hurt them most. It's not necessarily their actual fears and it doesn't necessarily reflect the opinions of the characters it portrays. Notes:  I have no delusions.  This is purely me dumping a bunch of my own feelings onto some fictional characters.  But hey, that’s what writing is for, right?  (OK, so it serves other purposes but for now, this is the one it shall serve…  With a side of fluff and a large glass of tears.) Disclaimer:  This by no means reflects the feelings, emotions, or views of all asexuals.  Besides the fact that asexuality is a spectrum, everyone is different and holds their own combination of desires, perspectives, and feelings.  This is just one of countless combinations of those.     Special thanks to @usually-confused for reading over this for me and bouncing ideas around with me!

Overall synopsis:  A post-weirdmageddon asexual (vaguely romantic) Fiddauthor fic in which revelations occur, a confession goes awry, some unfinished business reemerges in the form of a raging pterodactyl, and chaos ensues.  

Chapter synopsis:   Stan's situation escalates from "this was a bad plan" to "Oh no. Not the kids!" Ford and Fiddleford examine what's left of the cryogenic containment lab and Ford is faced with a nightmare brought to life.    Warnings:  Some action-y moments and some nightmares turned to reality for Ford Spoiler note - What the Shape Shifter says to him does not reflect Stan’s thoughts nor Ford’s, it’s simply 210 jabbing at him in any way it can think of.

Maybe It’s Not Too Late - fiddauthor fic progress update

Mentally drained.  Wrote some pretty emotional stuff on it today.  Poor Fidds!  Poor Ford!  Also poor Stan being stuck in another fight against another monster of unimaginable horror in his underwear.  Next part should be up either tomorrow night or Saturday night ~ <3  Thank you to anyone who’s reading :)

Overall synopsis:  A post-weirdmageddon asexual (vaguely romantic) Fiddauthor fic in which revelations occur, a confession goes awry, some unfinished business reemerges in the form of a raging pterodactyl, and chaos ensues.   Chapter Summery: Stan finds himself in a sticky situation while a trip into some not-so-pleasant memories causes Fiddleford to experience some after effects of erasing parts of his mind.

Mostly a lighter chapter with some fluff :). I guess you could say it's a little... sappy... Warnings:  Memory loss, mention of past trauma

Notes: OK so this fic is way longer than I thought it was going to be...  It's cute how it was originally going to be a drabble piece. O_o

Status update for “Maybe It’s Not Too Late”

I’m hoping to have another part posted tonight.  Working on formatting and revising now.  It’s a fairly fun and fluffy chapter that I’m calling the calm before the storm... ;).  Fidds and Ford get to spend some time reminiscing about some of their exploits in their youth.

Re: Maybe it’s Not Too Late (fiddauthor fic)

I just figured I should put it out there that this isn’t going to have a fairy tale kiss or anything...  holding hands and hugging are not out of the question though... ;)  I just don’t want to disappoint anyone if they’re hoping for that...   But there are going to be some cute fluffy moments for sure and also some conflict and a bit of blood and injury.   Latest part (3) is here if anyone does want to look at it though.
