Yeah hate to ruin the party but, don’t teach a-specs to hate themselves. Don’t prioritize the use of their bodies over their desires, don’t portray them in degrading “hypotheticals” - like saying “aro/aces should never say gays are gross” when that’s literally not a thing aro/aces do as a community, don’t mark down their experiences because it happened to an “ace person”, don’t claim invisibility is a privilege (suspicious, since one of the huge priorities is visibility for LGBT), don’t say it’s good clean fun to degrade a-spec’s autonomy, and that it’s all a “valid personal choice”, don’t pretend like it wasn’t allos who built closets around a-specs, and demand that they “disclose themselves” before perusing a relationship, don’t say bad things are suddenly good things when happening to a-specs, don’t say you’re an ally and then not listen.
