Just a quick reminder that Asexuality is LGBTQ+. The A in LGBTQIA stands for ace and aro. We are and always have been a part of the community. No I will not be taking criticism for this, it’s just facts and it’s stupid to ignore it.

As an ace person, what's your opinion on kids and early teens iding as ace? Like do you think they should wait, since sexual attraction develops way further down the line than romantic attraction does? Or would two kids, one aro and one ace, be able to tell around the same time? Sorry for the questions, just was curious what your opinion since I've only heard opinions on this from allos.

Honestly, fucking let kids ID as what they want. It’s not hurting anyone. Let kids be pan, bi, ace, gay, whatever! Let kids be trans! If they change their minds later, so what? To go against that is like saying a person should only be attracted to one specific person and to change your mind and like someone else is wrong. I ID’d as ace as a young teen. Still do. I am ALL FOR IT! Ace kiddos are valid, and I will stand by them!!

Okay so I am aware that there are some points of my argument from a few weeks ago that are horribly incorrect. Namely when I said that "discrimination is just as bad as oppression". I realize where I went wrong in that case and thanks to the anon that pointed that out, I'm really sorry for fucking that up. That's not what I meant to say, at all, I'm not very good at functionally portraying all of my ideas, so I'm sorry to anyone that I offended in saying that. However, I stand by my argument that asexual and aromatic people are part of the LGBT community. I will not be persuaded otherwise. Asexuality is an absolutely valid orientation that deserves to recognized, and I will not stand for someone blatantly questioning the validity of their orientation. And I don't believe that the basis of being in the LGBTQ+ community is that an orientation has to undergo homophobia and transphobia. First of all, those aren't the only phobias, there's also acephobia, along with many other things. But that's not what makes or breaks being lgbtq. I truly don't believe that. I didn't want to start anything, and I'm sorry for offending anyone with the one thing I said that was fairly insensitive, and again, I thanked the anon that made me aware of that loophole in my argument. Everyone else, please stop sending me anons saying that I'm wrong and I should stop being a "privileged bitch". I mean you can if you want, I'm ignoring you anyway, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't.
