Yall are so childish

I’m getting so much bullshit about defending demisexuality it’s so funny. Demisexuals aren’t attention seekers. They’re not “precious snowflakes” and they’re not “just like everyone else”.

Like okay I get it. Most people probably don’t have sex with people if they don’t have some emotional connection. That’s totally valid. And some people just have sex to have sex. That’s also valid. But demisexuals are people who don’t have that “almost immediate” sexual attraction or arousal. It takes time to develop a deep emotional connection and gain those kinds of feelings for another person. Again people will say “yeah well so does everyone” and that’s true but for some people who identify as demisexual/demiromantic it can take like YEARS to develop a sexual attraction. YEARS.

Thats not “just everyone”. So like I get it. I do but for fucks sake don’t freaking shit on people who identify a certain way?

Like???? It just doesn’t make sense???

And if you’re a part of the LGBTQ+ community and you’re doing this congratulations you’re doing to others what you wish wouldn’t be done to you.

It really pisses me off when people say and think asexuals can’t have a sexual relationship. Because they very well can  IF THEY WANT TO. And to say that ‘its weird for them to do something that because they don’t feel sexual attraction, like it’ etc etc is messed up. Who the hell are you to judge? If they chose to have a sexual relationship that is THEIR choice and you have no right to judge them. No one should be shamed for having sex, no matter what they identify as! If they chose to, again, that is their choice. They have every right to have a consented sexual relationship as much as anyone else does. Who knows? Maybe they /only/ feel that way about that person. Who knows, maybe despite being asexual and unable to have that feeling they STILL want to have sex. Who fucking cares? Don’t belittle an asexual for having sex.

There are different types of asexuality.

Some can STILL have sexual attraction, but want to watch it go down between two people. They don’t like the idea of it happening to them. Have you heard of autochorissexual? (X) Read it. jfc. Some don’t have any form of sexual attraction but still have sex, and some don’t. And I don’t think you have any room to fucking judge that. Nor is it ANY of your business. You’re not asexual, so who gives you the right to tell someone what is wrong and right in being asexual? No one.
