Castiel dating headcanons?
Omg, yes I have quite a few :D thank you for the ask anon!!
• So, when you both just started dating he was pretty inexperienced and usually went to ask Sam or Dean for advice
• Would definitely interrogate you about nicknames
• He tried testing out those cringy nicknames like "Honeypie" or "Hotcakes". You thought it was cute when it came from him though
• "Hey Hotcakes, would you like to go for a food run with me? Dean is out of beer."
• But he decided after a while to stick with something more simple like "My love/Love" or "Angel"
• He likes calling you his angel because you're special to him and he sees you as his equal
• Cas tries his best to go out on dates with you every chance he gets
• And when he wants to take you out to somewhere more romantic than a diner (like a picnic under the stars), he asks begs Dean to let him borrow Baby and tries his best to impress you
• He also likes buying you your favourite flowers or a white rose
• He definitely prefers simple indoor and outdoor dates, no where too crowded or too loud
• Cas wasn't really fond of hugs at first (he was pretty awkward with physical touch when you just started dating), but he gets used to it after a while
• He's not fond of PDA, but if he has to he will kiss you or hug you from behind when someone tries to flirt or hit on you
• TERRITORIAL. 100%. He's protective of you and he wants to be around you
• Definitely the big spoon. He likes to know that you're protected and safe in his arms
• He would watch your favourite movies with you and go on bookstore dates with you
• Cas loves playing with your hair and holding your hand. He just likes to touch you in anyway he can
• I headcanon that angel kisses leave freckles, so he would kiss you on your shoulders and neck a lot
• Likes hugging you from behind while you're doing sth and surprise you with random gifts (like a keychain from a town he was in during a hunt or just something simple like your favourite snack/drink.)
• When he tries to steal you from a conversation, he wraps his trenchcoat around you and takes you away
• Cas enjoys it when you play with his hair and when you let him lay his head on your lap
• Even if Cas doesn't need to sleep, he tries to and lets you hog the blanket
