Henlo I'm also super into scc so allow me to share a few hcs: Sweet is all bark and no bite, but k_k is all bite and no bark. If you hurt his buddies he'll absolutely drop kick you into next week

Cap'n usually hides behind k_k or runs when in danger. K_k has a really high-pitched voice, Cap'n has a new jersey accent, and Sweet sounds like Marvin the martian

I absolutely love the thought of K_K picking up. idk Spamton and punting him like the kickoff at the premier league. They've got legs and they know how to use them!!

To me Cap'n seems like the all bark and no bite type, but that being said he won't back down as long as the other person keeps going. not as confrontational as he used to be, but insult his friends and he will not be nice. but I can also see their bravado faltering in a conflict,, ur brain is huge

I still cannot settle on what Sweet would be for that scale. are they all bark and no bite? jus a small lad who stares into your soul and roasts your taste in music?? or will they go straight for the ankles?? knee-height 2-cubes-stacked-on-top-of-each-other chihuahua??? but also the thought of them climbing onto their stand and flying above any danger as soon as it seems like it's going to get physical is very funny to me

to me K_K seems very monotone/softspoken, also on the lighter side of things. a lot of people seemed to go with that sort of tone for them which I find interesting. I can definitely see new jersey accent cap'n!! MARVIN THE MARTIAN SWEET THO. MAN I LOVE THAT. hearing all the voiceclaims/voice actors' impressions of them is always a delight, esp since I myself am horrible at imagining their voices and putting a name or accent to them

I can't believe this has never struck me before, but like. Imagine Gontaguuji Tarzan au, with Gonta as Tarzan and Korekiyo as Jane.

I feel like Gonta would be George of the Jungle, swinging into trees before Korekiyo gives him new glasses, and THEN he becomes Tarzan. But Korekiyo as Jane is 100% fitting. I would wanna see that!!!

Top 5 minor/background heroes (unless you've already done that)?

Red Muffler.  A good lad, a hard working lad, sporting his red muffler made lovingly by his mom.  He may not be a high-flier but he puts in the honest miles.

Twintail.  The most perfectly androgynous hero out there -- Murata himself had to settle whether they were male or female.  It’s the latter.  I love her circus-based deadliness and I hope we get to see her again.

Great Philosopher.  Now here’s a guy who hits the gym as hard as he hits the books.  We didn’t get to see how good a fighter he is until the webcomic and I like what I see.   A book you can not just throw at your enemies, but that returns to hand?  I like!

Darkness Blade.  My favourite little edgelord.   He really shouldn’t speak.  Or raise his arms.

The fighting duo D-Pad and Funeral Suspenders.  They have quite the style!  Funeral Suspender’s habit of wearing his get up to taunt enemies by implying that he’s going to bury them is the sort of individual quirkiness I come to this series for.

I was thinking about competitive battling and realized Merciless Toxapex next to Corrosion Salazzle was a combo I haven't heard of before. Or in doubles, Muk next to Salazzle. When Salazzle inevitably dies, Muk gets Corrosion through Power of Alchemy, Toxapex comes in, and you poison and crit everyhting in sight.

That sounds like it would be fun to try out. It probably wouldn’t be super consistent because Toxapex is so weak but it would still be fun.

indeed I am! the barreleye is actually one of my favorite deep-sea critters and will probably get a Weird Biology slot eventually, I’m just trying to take a short break from ocean animals right now and include some worthy land dwellers. (I can’t help it that like... 90% of this planet’s weird creatures are in the ocean tho.)

About the Reaper buff: he heals 20% of the damage he deals to opponents, so he actually doesn't need to kill anyone to heal.
