Something about the way Ashton Frey has horrible self worth issues and constantly feels like he’s a bad friend and letting everyone down by existing wrong but also the way he shows his affection for his friends is by bothering them by invading their personal space crashing on their couch without asking first using stupid nicknames no one likes and like, they genuinely do get annoyed with him for this! But he lacks the social awareness to know where he’s gone wrong and just assumes he’s this horrible presence who inevitably ruins everything for everyone. It’s like he knows he’s annoying but doesn’t know WHY or how to make it stop. Good shit

💌 The Letter

I accidentally discovered this game on the Play Store, called "The Letter". It's a horror story, which continues through Japanese anime-style character choices.

Although the Ashton x Isabella couple is much more voted and appreciated, I immediately adored the Ashton x Rebecca couple.

The dynamics between Ashton and Rebecca are very similar to those I had with a childhood friend of mine, with whom I was deeply in love but not reciprocated. I thought that, at least in the game, there could be a different ending.

And this helped me let go of a piece of my past. ~ 🖤

The letter horror visual novel protective big brother Ashton Frey headcanon of when you (his younger sister age fifteen who he basically is so protective of and still acts like if he was still on the job around her *you know the rest about her*) were confessed to by several boys in St. Goretti High when he came to St. Goretti High to pick you up from school and to say that he didn't scare the teenage boys shitless would be a lie and to say that you weren't annoyed was a understatement when he did that..it wasn't a police matter to deal with! You can deal with rejecting the boys in a nice way and Ashton just had to scare them off! Ashton can forget about dessert tonight! You had that tight lip expression on your face when you were pissed off. You were not happy of what Ashton did. "ASHTON! What the hell! Why did you do that?!" Was what you said.

Hi there! It has certainly been a long time since I played the game, so I hope I'm doing good with writing Ashton's personality! Hope you like it!

Protective Big Brother HCs (Ashton Frey)

Of course, he would do such a thing. It’s no surprise there.

Being his job as a detective, he has gone through a lot. That is his reasoning for protecting you.

Telling him about the boys asking you out at school really tested his patience. He was angry. And, to your surprise, you find him the next day at your school. 

Rejecting boys was easy, but Ashton didn’t understand that for you. No, he wanted to scare them off for good.

Ashton did just that, but much worse than what you thought he’d do. He threatened their lives if they ever came two feet close to you in the distance.

“What the hell, Ashton! Why did you do that?!” You would yell at him, practically in front of all of your classmates.

Ashton didn’t flinch at your abrupt yelling. He expected that.

“I already told you, (Y/N), no boys.” He tells you.

“I know that! But I reject them nicely! Now there’s going to be rumors about me…” You say.

This action clearly made you upset. And Ashton knew that. He was only trying to protect you. But now that things have been done, he wasn’t sure what to do to make you smile again.

Maybe he’ll lay off on being the protective brother for a bit.

If you like horror games and/or choices matter games I suggest you check out The Letter. I love this game, the plot is great and the characters are amazing ❤️

I started thinking about The Letter and how ridiculously long that game is and yet I still enjoy it. It’s so long that I can’t fully ever remember fair amounts of it but I still like it for what I remember??
